“It’s September and it already feels like Christmas. So this year – as a way of paying tribute to you and thanking you – I’m going to decree that Christmas be brought forward to 1 October,” Maduro proclaimed during one of his frequent TV appearances.

Venezuela’s authoritarian leader, who is facing what experts call the greatest political challenge of his turbulent 11-year rule, promised all Venezuelans a Christmas of “peace, happiness and security”.

I always put my Christmas decorations up before Thanksgiving.

If it was up to me, I'd keep them up until early February, but they come down in early January.

Unfortunately, I'll have to reiterate my point since it doesn't seem to be clear. My point was intended to convey the idea that "the boss" apparently thinks he has the authority to decide when and how anyone should value or worship Christ.

SMH. This is why we gear up to fight the War on Christmas each year. Every year Christmas expands past its border and has to be forcefully pushed back. Know your place Christmas and stay in December where you belong!
