  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Definitely sad, but that is what you get when you fight wars the western way. That is the way of losers.

In order to win a war, you have to defeat the enemy military and civilians. You do that by killing them until they publicly admit defeat and give up. If they won't give up, then keep killing them. You may have to kill most or all of the civilians population if they won't give up.

That, of course, is genocide and a war crime, but it is the only way to win. Note that the last time America won a war was when it nuked Japan. Currently, the western way of war means never winning another war again.

Getting back to Israel, no Palestinians means no problems. Depopulate Gaza and the West Bank by killing everybody and driving off the rest.

Before you blame me, this is the scenario in Isaiah 17. Apparently, Israel is going to nuke all of its neighbors. Of course, this puts into the play WW3. Note that this Isaiah 17 scenario appears to be at Israel's doorstep right now.

Before you start looking at Arabs like they're household pests that needs to be exterminated, remember they're also the seed of Abraham (Ishmaelites). God also have covenant with them.

God's future for them is to flourish, not to be annihilated.

The entire Bible doesn't show God always fighting for Israel's victory. In times of disobedience, God allows Israel's defeat until they cry for mercy and Israel is being disobedient still and still hates Jesus.

We won pretty handily against Iraq in the 90’s.

You seem to be suggesting Israel should increase the number of people killed (40k plus to date) by 10 fold?

We won battles, but not the war. Look at the state of Iraq today. Apparently, Iran won the war.

Look at Afghanistan. We won all the battles but the Taliban is back in power.

Israel has only won battles but not wars. The enemies keep coming back, over and over.

You win wars when the enemy doesn't come back.

Let's say Israel took your adivce....

Israel would lose *all* support including the support of the U.S. (and rightly so). It would not be long before Israel would cese to exist.

I missed the "seem" part.

The US bombed German cities by day and the British by night. Lots of German civilians died. The US nuked Japanese cities. Lots of war crimes to go around by the US and allies. But we haven't had war with those two for almost 80 years.

Under the current rules of war, Nazi Germany would have won WW2.

Give up and play nice, or die. This applies to the military and civilians. The enemy gets to decide. Palestinians have decided on the die part. So give them what they want.

Well, hey, at least Netenyahu got his revenge on a bunch of civilians.
Bad analysis. Hamas cowards hide among civilians and put their own people at risk. Israel goes out of its way to protect civilians but as long as Hamas use its own people for shields unfortunately innocents will die.

No surprise there and very telling.

You'll hear what you want to hear....the Daily Mail is counting on it.

The Minnesota governor was posed the question at his home state's state fair in St. Paul, hours after the bodies were found in an underground tunnel in the Rafah area of the city.

From the footage, it was unclear whether the potential vice president heard the inquiry, but as soon as it was uttered, he bid onlookers farewell.

I was going to bring that up. I thinknthst was because Iraq also had a military. Tgey didn't fight the same way as Hanas or the Taliban. It made it easy to defeat Iraq.

The point being, it wasn't clear Walz heard the question, but the Daily Mail spun it anyway.
