You might be interested to know that Rev. Billy Graham was much loved by the Russian Orthodox Church, because during the dark years of the Soviet Union, he was able to preach there, at a time when the Russian church was prohibited by the Communist government from engaging in much preaching or catechesis, and so Billy Graham received a blessing from the Patriarch of Moscow to preach in the country, and this was of great benefit for all Christians in Russia.
Billy Graham was indeed visited on his deathbed by Metropolitan Hilarion of Budapest, who at the time was in charge of the Department of External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate (which he resigned from in 2022, while remaining the Metropolitan of Budapest, presiding over the majority of Orthodox churches in Hungary).
