That is awesome. God bless Oklahoma, as least for that one thing, but screw tornadoes. Oklahoma gets more tornadoes compared to Wisconsin.
I’m in a blue-aligned state and we have no grocery, sales, or income tax. Soooo…
Virginia is purple or blue, if I am not mistaken. But yeah, most of those states seem southern to me.Groceries have long been tax-exempt in California. Glad the red states are finally catching up, mostly.
Hawai'i & Illinois (and maybe Virginia) are the only blue states that tax groceries.

God bless New Hampshire. No sales tax whatsoever, plus in that beautiful New England area. This talk about tax-exemption made me realize that my state (Pennsylvania) is one of only FOUR states in the nation where clothing is tax-exempt. Not only that, our votes actually matter immensely in this (and almost every) election. God bless Pennsylvania!

Are the liquor licenses limited? Because I’m in PA at least a few times a year and haven’t come across it in grocery stores.I don't drink beer, so it doesn't matter to me. But that's no longer true. Since 2016, you've been able to buy beer in gas stations and grocery stores in PA. Our local Sheetz gas station has a walk-in "Beer Cave".

It's good to see that Gov. Tim Walz' state, Minnesota, also exempts clothing from sales taxes. Once again showing that he is "for the people."This talk about tax-exemption made me realize that my state (Pennsylvania) is one of only FOUR states in the nation where clothing is tax-exempt.
