In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Yet even today Judah which now calls itself Israel refuses entrance to the 10.

Despite the numerous promises of YHVH that we can read about in the books of the prophets, it is not taught in most churches worldwide that YHVH will lead the ten lost tribes back to their land of Israel. On the contrary, these promises are presented as lies and false doctrine, even by messianic leaders, i.e. Jews. These leaders bear a great deal of responsibility for this because they confuse believers and leave them in the dark about their future. The believers are deprived of the chance to prepare for the second exodus. This will be so great that the first exodus will no longer be spoken of

Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that they shall no more say, The Lord liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt; But, The Lord liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel [the ten lost tribes] out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land [= Israel]. Jer 23:7-8

In the same chapter, a distinction is made between Judah and Israel:

In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: Jer 23:6a

YHVH will lead the ten tribes home - despite the unbelief of the church/community - just as He led the Jews back - despite the unbelief of the church/community.

How did YHVH lead the Jews back?

By placing His desire for them to return home as a vision in the hearts of individuals: Max Bodenheimer, Theodor Herzl, Chaim Weizmann, etc., who began to fight for their vision and spread it so that a movement emerged.

For centuries, the church and the community claimed that G-d was finished with the Jews and that there would no longer be a state of Israel. But as we know from the literature, there was always a remnant of believers who held on to this. And as we know from history, YHVH kept his promise to restore the state of Israel, despite the unbelief of the church!

And when Theodor Herzl wrote down his vision in his book The Jewish State in 1896 to awaken the Jews worldwide, the beginning was set for a political Zionist movement. He called on the Jews to emigrate to Palestine, to buy land from the Turks and cultivate it, to form a Jewish majority and thus rebuild a Jewish homeland. After working tirelessly for the Zionist movement, Herzl died of a heart attack in 1904 at the age of 44. After his death, Chaim Weizmann became the new leader of the Zionist movement. Weizmann's diplomacy led to the Balfour Declaration on November 2, 1917. It granted the Jewish people the international right to find a homeland in Palestine with the help of Great Britain.

The decline of the Ottoman Empire during the First World War played a key role in creating the opportunity for the Jewish people to return to their original homeland. This decline enabled Britain to gain control of the Middle East. The British defeated the Turks, ending 400 years of Turkish rule over Palestine and 600 years of Muslim domination of the entire area. The First World War had a significant impact on Zionism.

While Weizmann continued to promote the cause of Zionism in Western diplomatic contacts, David Ben-Gurion became the pioneer of Zionism in Palestine.

In the decade following the recognition of the Balfour Declaration, many Jews made Aliyah and returned to Palestine. In the first eight years, the number of immigrants almost doubled from around 55,000 to 103,000. Then the oppression of Jews in Europe increased and thousands fled to Palestine. Despite great Arab resistance, 150,000 Jews immigrated to Palestine between 1931 and 1935.

The Arabs now threatened to turn off the oil tap to the British. In 1939, British Prime Minister Chamberlain drafted the so-called MacDonald White Paper, which almost completely banned Jews from immigrating to Palestine. And the Balfour Declaration fell victim to Chamberlain's appeasement policy. Four months later, the Second World War began and the British declared war on Germany. Just one year later, Chamberlain was forced to resign when the Germans threatened the British Isles with war. Although thousands of Jews were still able to flee from Hitler, they were no longer allowed into Palestine. They had to turn back and many died on the voyage. When the Second World War broke out, Jewish emigration was brought to a halt and the Jews died a horrific mass death.

After the war in 1947, the British government announced that the issue of Palestine would be referred to the UN General Assembly. A partition plan was then drawn up, which provided for a Jewish and an Arab state as well as an international zone in the Jerusalem region (UN Resolution 181). The Arabs strictly rejected this plan and set fire to Jewish houses and synagogues. The Arab states called for all forces to be mobilized for war. The Arabs saw the British withdrawal as their opportunity to send Jews out of Palestine and settle the immigration issue forever. On May 14, 1 948, the British lowered their flag, on the same day the Israelis raised their flag and declared Israel an independent state, and before the end of the day the Egyptians began bombing Tel Aviv. Israel, then with 650,000 inhabitants, won this conflict against the Arab military forces, made up of seven nations, whose population amounted to 140 million people.

After more than 2000 years of exile in the nations, the modern state of Israel is born and represents a major prophetic event of the end times, which is now recognized as fact in the churches and the community. However, many churches still claim that the church has taken the place of Israel.

YHVH will make us, the ten lost tribes, one with the Jews (Ezekiel 37).

The Jews pray daily for YHVH to bring back the ten lost tribes because they know that the restoration of the Tabernacle of David will only take place together with them:

In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old: Amos 9:11

Until recently, the rabbis in Jerusalem had no idea who these ten tribes might be. They searched but did not know where to find them.

YHVH has placed a prophetic voice in this desert, a rabbi of a ministry, who stands before his brothers and explain to them, over and over again, who these ten lost tribes are. As was to be expected, he met with great resistance at first. But little by little the rabbis are opening up and they are beginning to deal with the revelation that the ten tribes are largely made up of Christians, believers who are now waking up and beginning to deal with the Torah.

Even the government in Israel has begun to deal with this exciting question of who the ten tribes are and has also held talks on the subject with this rabbi who knows the answer. In the Ministry of Diaspora, the government has also taken up this explosive issue and given it space by now examining whether they should change the laws for Aliyah for non-Jews who adhere to the Jews.

Regardless of what the State of Israel decides to do, whether it will change the Aliyah laws to allow non-Jews who are Jews the right to make Aliyah or not, something is in motion. It is being considered and examined, which is a great miracle in and of itself. A start.

YHVH is in the process of opening the eyes of the house of Judah to who the ten lost tribes are. This process, which has already begun, will take a long time before every Jew can see and accept this. But in the parable of the prodigal son, YHVH has already drawn our attention to the fact that the elder son (Luke 15:11ff) will not be pleased with this development.

A large part of the House of Judah (Jews) has already returned home to Israel. But we also know that about as many Jews still live in the diaspora, especially in North America.

The prophet Jeremiah describes that these Jews will go home together with the ten lost tribes:

In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers. Jer 3:18

The Jews will gather in North America with the members of the House of Israel, the ten lost tribes, and they will emigrate together to Israel. Only one can bring these two houses together: Yeshua. Just as the ten lost tribes are now in the process of accepting the Torah, so there are now and will be more and more Jews who recognize the Messiah Yeshua. And so He will bring them home together as brothers. See also in particular a current statement by Orthodox rabbis from Israel, the USA and Europe. YHWH sets everything in motion!

When they return during a time of judgment, the borders of Israel will have been expanded at the expense of Syria, Iraq, Jordan and Egypt. Israel will recapture these territories in a war. Greater Israel will be the land between the rivers - namely between the Euphrates and the Nile. God has promised this land to his people. This is first mentioned in Genesis 15:18-21:

In the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates: The Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites, And the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaims, And the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites. Gen 15:18-21

Greater Israel is also the very land that Abram traveled through. He left his home in Ur on the Persian Gulf and wandered through the valley of the Euphrates, first to Babylon, Haran and then to the Promised Land, Canaan. When a famine struck the land, Abram moved with his clan to Egypt and later back again. One could almost speak of a prophetic journey of Abram in Greater Israel

The prophet Jeremiah confirms the return of the ten lost tribes in the very chapter in which he speaks about the new covenant:

YHVH refers to Ephraim, the ten lost tribes, as his beloved son:

Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spake against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith the Lord. Jer 31:20

YHVH has not forgotten Ephraim

Set thee up waymarks, make thee high heaps: set thine heart toward the highway, even the way which thou wentest: turn again, O virgin of Israel, turn again to these thy cities. Jer 31:21

Why do you think Ephraim will return to the cities of Israel?

Because his cities in the nations (from the north, but not only there) will be destroyed and life under judgment in the nations will no longer be worth living there. This is reminiscent of the first exodus, when the Israelites left Egypt as the ten plagues raged there. At that time, only 1/5 of the Israelites left and it will be the same again, so that only the remnant will go back. Not everyone will set out.

A group of rabbis issued the following statement on December 3, 2015: We as Orthodox rabbis, leading communities and institutions in Israel, the United States and Europe, recognize the historic hour. We want to do the will of the Father in Heaven by accepting the hands extended to us by our Christian brothers and sisters. Jews and Christians must work together as partners to meet the moral challenges of our time.

Here is the full statement in English:

Orthodox Rabbis on Christianity

On December 3, 2015, a group of Orthodox rabbis published a statement on Christianity in the light of the deepening dialogue between Jews and Christians:

To Do the Will of Our Father in Heaven: Toward a Partnership between Jews and Christians

After nearly two millennia of mutual hostility and alienation, we Orthodox Rabbis who lead communities, institutions and seminaries in Israel, the United States and Europe recognize the historic opportunity now before us. We seek to do the will of our Father in Heaven by accepting the hand offered to us by our Christian brothers and sisters. Jews and Christians must work together as partners to address the moral challenges of our era.

  1. The Shoah ended 70 years ago. It was the warped climax to centuries of disrespect, oppression and rejection of Jews and the consequent enmity that developed between Jews and Christians. In retrospect it is clear that the failure to break through this contempt and engage in constructive dialogue for the good of humankind weakened resistance to evil forces of anti-Semitism that engulfed the world in murder and genocide.
  1. We recognize that since the Second Vatican Council the official teachings of the Catholic Church about Judaism have changed fundamentally and irrevocably. The promulgation of Nostra Aetate fifty years ago started the process of reconciliation between our two communities. Nostra Aetate and the later official Church documents it inspired unequivocally reject any form of anti-Semitism, affirm the eternal Covenant between G-d and the Jewish people, reject deicide and stress the unique relationship between Christians and Jews, who were called “our elder brothers” by Pope John Paul II and “our fathers in faith” by Pope Benedict XVI. On this basis, Catholics and other Christian officials started an honest dialogue with Jews that has grown during the last five decades. We appreciate the Church’s affirmation of Israel’s unique place in sacred history and the ultimate world redemption. Today Jews have experienced sincere love and respect from many Christians that have been expressed in many dialogue initiatives, meetings and conferences around the world.
  1. As did Maimonides and Yehudah Halevi,[1] we acknowledge that Christianity is neither an accident nor an error, but the willed divine outcome and gift to the nations. In separating Judaism and Christianity, G-d willed a separation between partners with significant theological differences, not a separation between enemies. Rabbi Jacob Emden wrote that “Jesus brought a double goodness to the world. On the one hand he strengthened the Torah of Moses majestically… and not one of our Sages spoke out more emphatically concerning the immutability of the Torah. On the other hand he removed idols from the nations and obligated them in the seven commandments of Noah so that they would not behave like animals of the field, and instilled them firmly with moral traits…..Christians are congregations that work for the sake of heaven who are destined to endure, whose intent is for the sake of heaven and whose reward will not denied.”[2] Rabbi Samson Raphael Hirsch taught us that Christians “have accepted the Jewish Bible of the Old Testament as a book of Divine revelation. They profess their belief in the G-d of Heaven and Earth as proclaimed in the Bible and they acknowledge the sovereignty of Divine Providence.”[3] Now that the Catholic Church has acknowledged the eternal Covenant between G-d and Israel, we Jews can acknowledge the ongoing constructive validity of Christianity as our partner in world redemption, without any fear that this will be exploited for missionary purposes. As stated by the Chief Rabbinate of Israel’s Bilateral Commission with the Holy See under the leadership of Rabbi Shear Yashuv Cohen, “We are no longer enemies, but unequivocal partners in articulating the essential moral values for the survival and welfare of humanity”.[4] Neither of us can achieve G-d’s mission in this world alone.
  1. Both Jews and Christians have a common covenantal mission to perfect the world under the sovereignty of the Almighty, so that all humanity will call on His name and abominations will be removed from the earth. We understand the hesitation of both sides to affirm this truth and we call on our communities to overcome these fears in order to establish a relationship of trust and respect. Rabbi Hirsch also taught that the Talmud puts Christians “with regard to the duties between man and man on exactly the same level as Jews. They have a claim to the benefit of all the duties not only of justice but also of active human brotherly love.” In the past relations between Christians and Jews were often seen through the adversarial relationship of Esau and Jacob, yet Rabbi Naftali Zvi Berliner (Netziv) already understood at the end of the 19th century that Jews and Christians are destined by G-d to be loving partners: “In the future when the children of Esau are moved by pure spirit to recognize the people of Israel and their virtues, then we will also be moved to recognize that Esau is our brother.”[5]
  1. We Jews and Christians have more in common than what divides us: the ethical monotheism of Abraham; the relationship with the One Creator of Heaven and Earth, Who loves and cares for all of us; Jewish Sacred Scriptures; a belief in a binding tradition; and the values of life, family, compassionate righteousness, justice, inalienable freedom, universal love and ultimate world peace. Rabbi Moses Rivkis (Be’er Hagoleh) confirms this and wrote that “the Sages made reference only to the idolator of their day who did not believe in the creation of the world, the Exodus, G-d’s miraculous deeds and the divinely given law. In contrast, the people among whom we are scattered believe in all these essentials of religion.”[6]
  1. Our partnership in no way minimizes the ongoing differences between the two communities and two religions. We believe that G-d employs many messengers to reveal His truth, while we affirm the fundamental ethical obligations that all people have before G-d that Judaism has always taught through the universal Noahide covenant.
  1. In imitating G-d, Jews and Christians must offer models of service, unconditional love and holiness. We are all created in G-d’s Holy Image, and Jews and Christians will remain dedicated to the Covenant by playing an active role together in redeeming the world.

Based on history, YHVH will give a window or windows of time and a legal basis for when the wave or waves of the second exodus will take place.

The Bible clearly states that this will happen under great wrath of YHVH and shakings in all lands. I personally believe that the second exodus will be after the third world war when there will be Greater Israel as described in the Bible through the Jews gaining land. This land will be needed to accommodate the millions and millions of returnees.

And I will bring you out from the people, and will gather you out of the countries wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out. Ez 20:34

This word is found again in Revelation

the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. Rev 16:19

YHVH will prepare Greater Israel for the return of the ten lost tribes. There will be enough room for all of them.

In order for YHVH to bring the two houses together, he will bring the ten lost tribes out of the nations under judgment:

And I will bring you out from the people, and will gather you out of the countries wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out. Ez 20:34

In the past, the judgments of YHVH have always been wars, diseases, repressive measures, famines, etc. And the ten tribes are attributed to this outpoured wrath. The Hebrew word for poured out is shaphak, which also means to shed blood.

The ten tribes scattered throughout the nations will not emigrate voluntarily, just as the Jews did not leave voluntarily. But when persecution came and the Jews were ready, there were also laws given by Yahweh that they could immigrate.

YHVH will straighten out the lost tribes. Yes, He will and is doing so. In the worldwide Hebrew Roots movement, believers are turning back and discovering that the Torah still applies. This is how YHVH is preparing us so that He can make us one with the Jews (Ezekiel 37). Of course, YHVH will also open the eyes of the Jews to the fact that their Messiah and our Messiah are identical, which is also necessary for the process of becoming one.

However as stated earlier, Judah today is still denying access into Israel of anyone but the two current tribes even if it can be shown they are of the 10. It appears that although there may have been a lessening of friction between Jew and Christian, the eons old friction between the 12 tribes still remains. Does not everything revolve around resolving this old Dad likes me best scenario?

This may be expressed in the parable of the prodigal son, in which the elder son says smugly to his father:

Behold, for so many years I have served you and have never broken your commandment:

Today he would say, I do right and spare no one.

How is it possible that so many believers do not know the meaning of Israel's restoration?

Is it because they shun or, worse, reject G-d's prophetic word?

These blind spots in His body are interconnected and definitely not pleasing to the Lord.

The scattered Jews will be gathered into a resurrected Jewish state (Jer 30:8-10). This is an obvious testimony to the world of G-d's faithfulness to His promises (Heb 10:23b). Since this must happen before the Lord returns,

When the Lord shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory. Ps 102:16

Will the war with Iran and Hezbollah be like 1967 or 1973?

In 1967, Israel pre-empted the war and achieved a miraculous victory in just six days. But in 1973, after being warned by the US not to launch a pre-emptive strike, the Israeli leadership hesitated and ended up losing thousands of men and at one point even considered using nuclear weapons to save the Jewish people.

Israel's war against Hamas in Gaza, is being waged in the shadow of the ceasefire/hostage negotiations, which have so far failed to produce any results. Prime Minister Netanyahu's non-negotiable terms of reference for the negotiations are exactly what one should expect from a son of Zion who leads the Jewish nation and knows the lessons of history. Nevertheless, there are too many voices in both the Israeli military and in politics who have not learned the lessons of Oct 7, 2023 and oppose it.

Israel today is an outsider nation, not judged like other nations, but held to an impossibly higher standard of behavior. Thus the prophecy of Balaam is fulfilled, that Israel is alone among the nations

the people shall dwell alone, and shall not be reckoned among the nations. Num 23:9b

How dare we pray against this fulfillment when we well realize that most Israelis who lack a living relationship with G-d through the Messiah as we have will understandably try to resist it because it is a frightening and lonely situation for them.

Being separated from the world in order to be one with G-d is a description of being holy.

Satan seeks to destroy Israel (Rev 12:12-13). Today the nations are cursing Israel. The UN and its subsidiary organizations like the International Court of Justice actively seek ways to curse Israel whenever possible.

We know that G-d's word does not return to Him void

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. Isa 55:11

So as Jews study Deuteronomy 5 from now until the fall feasts in Oct for the Torah readings on Sabbath, this is a good time to pray for Israel to actually possess all its G-d-given possessions, for He promises Israel the land over 80 times in this last book of Moses.

The Bible is a history book by and for Israel!

The descendants of the so-called "lost 10 tribes" of the northern house of Israel can be found in the Anglo-Saxon-Celtic and related peoples of today. The people of Israel? Not Jewish, but Anglo-Saxon!

The identification of one of the twelve tribes of Israel with a country or a population is not new: for generations there have been Britons who have drawn a parallel between Ephraim and England. This has been said about Manasseh and the United States. It is also said between Dan and Denmark, Judah and the Jews.

Zebulun is the youngest son from the marriage of the patriarch Jacob and the matriarch Leah. He is their sixth son. His older brothers are Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah and Issachar

And this is the blessing, wherewith Moses the man of G-d blessed the children of Israel before his death... And of Zebulun he said, Rejoice, Zebulun, in thy going out; and, Issachar, in thy tents. They shall call the people unto the mountain; there they shall offer sacrifices of righteousness: for they shall suck of the abundance of the seas, and of treasures hid in the sand. Deu 33:1 .18-19

A long time ago, Helene Koppejan from Zeeland wrote the booklet: "Strange parallel: Zebulun - the Netherlands, a tribe of Israel",

which puts forward the theory that the Dutch are one of the "Ten Lost Tribes" and as such an important part of Joseph-Israel's family,

which merged with this empire after the conquest by the Assyrians in the 7th century BCE

The book explains that the 10 lost tribes, which were annexed by the Assyrians, arrived in Europe through migrations. More precisely: north-west Europe. Because the prophecy from the Bible is still in force and because G-d keeps his promises, these nations still fall under the Mosaic covenant. And not just the tribe of Judah. Mentioned in connection with the Assyrians are the Khumri, sons of Omri, which in turn is the tribal name of the Kimbrians, the people who settled in Jutland as Kelto-Germanic and Scythians. The book explains that the 10 lost tribes of Israel (who were not "Jews" at the time, because that is what the Judeans were) were migrating Celts who arrived in north-west Europe around 600 BCE thanks to migration from the Black Sea region. At the time of the Cimbrian Flood described by the Romans (2nd century BCE), these Cimbrians migrated southwards from southern Scandinavia to the Rhineland.

A film entitled 'Wondere Parallel' (1971) was also made, in which the similarities between the Seelanders (derived from Zebulon) on the Dutch west coast and the promises of Jacob to this son in particular are examined. The Dutch and thus their ancestors, the Frisians, would then be descended from the tribe of Zebulun, named after the son of Jacob (= Israel, who wrestled with G-d).

In all of history, no nation can be found that has fulfilled the Zebulunian promises more clearly in its national behaviour than the Netherlands on the North Sea. The harbour-rich area with its seafaring and circumnavigation, the draining of lakes from which the "hidden treasures of the sand" are harvested today as rich agricultural products, all this and much more points in only one direction: Holland-Sebulon.

Kimswerd is a village in the municipality of Súdwest-Fryslân in the Dutch province of Friesland. Kimswerd could be a reference to the Cimbri, a Germanic tribe from northern Jutland, which would then refer to Omri's sons Khumri. Together with the Teutons and Ambrons, they moved southwards from their settlement area in the north of Central Europe around 120 BCE. The Assyrians called the Israelites Ghimri or Khumri after the name of their king Omri. The Babylonians called them "Gimmirai". Deriving from this name, the Greek historian Herodotus called them Cimmerians, others Cimbri or Cymbrians.

Kennemerland, a region in the Dutch province of North Holland, could at least be a reference to Khumri.

The symbol of Holland was a ship in popular tradition and a ship was the symbol of the former Dutch Republic. According to the Midrash, the Jewish interpretation literature, a ship was also the symbol of Zebulun. In Jewish synagogues, the various symbols of the Israelite tribes can often be found on the walls or on the curtain or door. Zebulun is always represented by a ship. Israeli stamps with the tribal symbols show a ship as the symbol of Zebulun

In Jewish literature, Zebulun is portrayed as a merchant seafarer, which is true of the Dutch. The Dutch were among the world's leading seafarers from the 16th century to the present day. The Dutch empire was spread all over the world. At one stage it included territories in North America. New York was founded by the Dutch. Peter Stuyvesant was a Dutch governor of New Amsterdam. Dutch rule over Ceylon, harbours in India, places in South America and Indonesia, etc. The Dutch harbours were also very important. Rotterdam was for a long time the largest and busiest harbour in the world. Rotterdam is still the most important harbour for the whole of Europe.

Jacob prophesied:

Zebulun shall dwell at the haven of the sea; and he shall be for an haven of ships; and his border shall be unto Zidon. Gen 49:13

Only the Dutch live "on the coast of the sea", as the Dutch are descended from Zebulun!

Friesland and Holland can be identified with Zebulun. According to the geography of Ptolemy (ca. 100 CE, but based on material from several centuries earlier), the area of southern Scandinavia and northern Friesland was occupied by the Sabalingoi. The name Sabalingoi (Sebulon-goi) means "people of Zebulun".

Pytheas (ca. 325 BCE) is reported to have described the Dutch region as being inhabited by Scuthai (i.e. Scythians).

Each tribe of Israel had its own stone on the breastplate of the high priest. Zebulun's stone was a diamond. Today, South Africa produces most of the world's diamonds, most of which are processed and traded in Antwerp, Belgium, in the Flanders region, whose inhabitants are at least partly of Dutch descent. Before Antwerp, Amsterdam in Holland was the most important centre for diamonds. South Africa, where the diamonds come from, is dominated by the Boers, who are partly descended from Dutch settlers and whose language is based on an old Dutch dialect.

Holland's theory of descent is consistent with the earlier apocryphal Frisian historiography collected, for example, by Waling Dijkstra, a Dutch writer

Since the Frisians, Angles and Saxons jointly conquered the British continent from the Celtic Britons and then gave it their name and language, this view need not conflict with the Zebulun theory

Ultimately, the DNA of the men from East Anglia and Northumbria hardly differs from that of the Frisians. Old Frisian was also almost identical to the old Anglo-Saxon language.

The name Saxon comes from the name Isaaks-sons (= sons of Isaac, the son of Abraham with Sarah; Isaac = Hebrew Yischaq). If we omit the I, we get: Saaksons, or Saxons, or Saxons, who were known in antiquity as the Celtic-Scythian tribe of saka or sacae. Saxons sit on the English royal throne. They are descended from the "Saxe-Coburg-Gotha" family, and as anything German was not very popular outside Germany during the two world wars, they renamed themselves "Windsor". Today, all European high noble families are practically related to each other, which also emphasises the family ties between the European peoples.

The Scottish Declaration of Independence of Arbroath from 1320 refers to the origin of the Scots from the 10 tribes of Israel. The national anthem of the Netherlands also refers to the ancient roots, stating:

It is obvious with the Danes, who still bear their origins as the tribe of Dan in their name today: Danmark. Túatha Dé Danann, as they called themselves before settling in Ireland around 800 BCE, means "tribe of Dan". The clues are everywhere. Words have a meaning!

Britain, on the other hand, means berith = covenant; ayin = without, so "without covenant".

Some scholars now say, "There we have it! The British can't belong to Israel because Britain in Hebrew means "without covenant"!". They forget that Israel committed the sin of Jeroboam, which was to abandon the covenant with G-d and instead worship the "sun-G-d" Baal - thereby becoming a people who have broken the covenant with G-d, and are therefore now "without covenant".

To prevent the Israelites of the northern kingdom from rejoining Rehoboam, as they had to go to Jerusalem at least three times a year to attend the religious festivals, Jeroboam founded a new religious system, the two centres of which were Bethel in the southern northern kingdom and Dan in the north of the kingdom. There, the Ten Tribes worshipped golden calves.

And Jeroboam said in his heart, Now shall the kingdom return to the house of David: If this people go up to do sacrifice in the house of the Lord at Jerusalem, then shall the heart of this people turn again unto their lord, even unto Rehoboam king of Judah, and they shall kill me, and go again to Rehoboam king of Judah. Whereupon the king took counsel, and made two calves of gold, and said unto them, It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem: behold thy g-ds, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. And he set the one in Bethel, and the other put he in Dan. And this thing became a sin: for the people went to worship before the one, even unto Dan. 1 Kings 12:26-30

This system was a typical example of syncretism as practised by most churches to this day. It contained elements of true G-d worship mixed with pagan idolatry and pagan rituals. Above all, the basis of this system was fundamentally wrong. G-d had promised Jeroboam kingship over the 10 tribes of the northern kingdom of Israel

And Ahijah caught the new garment that was on him, and rent it in twelve pieces: And he said to Jeroboam, Take thee ten pieces: for thus saith the Lord, the G-d of Israel, Behold, I will rend the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon, and will give ten tribes to thee: 1 Kings 11:30-31

The king did not need to use human wilfulness to protect what G-d had promised. An unknown prophet warned Jeroboam of his idolatry, but he would not listen. The judgement of G-d struck Jeroboam and his family because of the idolatry he had seduced Israel into. Jeroboam's son Abijah fell ill and later died

At that time Abijah the son of Jeroboam fell sick... Moreover the Lord shall raise him up a king over Israel, who shall cut off the house of Jeroboam... For the Lord shall smite Israel, as a reed is shaken in the water, and he shall root up Israel out of this good land, which he gave to their fathers, and shall scatter them beyond the river, because they have made their groves, provoking the Lord to anger. And he shall give Israel up because of the sins of Jeroboam, who did sin, and who made Israel to sin. 1 Kings 14:1 .14a .15-16

Since the days of Jeroboam, the 10 tribes of the Northern Kingdom worshipped Baal - and they did so not only until the empire was conquered by the Assyrians and the surviving people were led into captivity in Assyria in 722 BCE. Even after their flight from Assyria in 612 BCE, they held on to it - indeed, today they are no longer aware of their identity and unknowingly continue to worship Baal to this day!

The division of the Celts into tribal groups was not the only thing they had in common with the 10 tribes of Israel, but also Baal worship, as archaeological finds confirm. Vertically erected memorial stones, so-called mono- and megaliths, some with inscriptions, can be found today not only in the areas of the former southern and northern kingdoms, but also around 40,000 of them scattered throughout western and northern Europe. The stones were erected in honour of the "SunG-d" Baal and bear witness to the idolatry of the "Celtic" Hebrews: the 10 tribes of the Northern Kingdom of Israel.

Stonehenge is probably the best known of these numerous places in Europe where the worship of Baal was celebrated by the immigrant Israelites. If we want to search for the 10 tribes of Israel, then the Baal altars will show us the way unerringly - all the way to the Babylonian idolatry of the great churches of modernity. Israel still worships Baal to this day - quite consciously then, without realising it today!

The idea that the "State of Israel" is synonymous with the biblical people of Israel prevents us from understanding biblical end-time prophecy. Before 1948, this landscape was called Judea, and that is where the truth lies. Today's State of Israel is inhabited in part by members of the former Southern Kingdom of Judah - but the House of Israel, which never returned from the Assyrian captivity to the land of the fathers, are today's descendants of the Judeo-Christian Gentile peoples of Western and Northern Europe.

Under the new covenant none of this matters.

Tribes do not matter and I'll tell you why. In the Book of Revelation we are given the tribes, and the tribes we are given very specifically show "the Church" as an entire group, Jew and Gentile alike.

So tribes are utterly meaningless now.. literally meaningless. Jesus came to heal the division between Jews and Gentiles... To bring us together. He tore down the dividing wall.

To build it again would seem as a heresy.

YHVH will lead Israel back to the land.

The house of Judah and the house of Israel.

It will be a great exodus.

And through the Messiah they can become one again:

For ye are all the children of G-d by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. Gal 3:26-28

And in the hand of the Messiah, united Israel becomes a strong power:

When I have bent Judah for me, filled the bow with Ephraim, and raised up thy sons, O Zion, against thy sons, O Greece, and made thee as the sword of a mighty man. Zec 9:13

We also read that this restoration of Israel will happen in the land of Israel (so the step before the reunification is the return):

And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord G-d; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land: And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel;
Ez 37:21-22a

They will learn to live in the commandments of YHVH:

and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them. Ez 37:24b

And there in the Land Israel they will dwell forever:

And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever. Ez 37:25

It's the story of YHVH and His people. Perfectly planned and with a truly ingenious ending.

He is pursuing a great goal: He will establish His kingdom. In Israel. He will rule from Zion

Thus saith the Lord G-d;... they [Judah and Ephraim] shall be ONE in mine hand... and bring them into their own land:.. And I will make them ONE nation... and they shall be no more two nations, (from Ez 37:19-22)

Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my G-d, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my
G-d, and the name of the city of my G-d, the new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my G-d, and my new name. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches! Rev 3:12-13

Don't forget that at the time the 2 tribes called the 10 tribes gentiles

I am Amillenial, I also believe in Spiritual Israel being the only Israel, and the only Jews.

Without accepting the Messiah no one is a Jew, with accepting the Messiah you're either adopted in or grafted back in through the New Covenant in Christ's blood.

Meaning, only one group are Jews, only one group is Israel because there's only 1 group.

Doing for Israel the nation state what is right for the sake Christ is different altogether. But they are not inside the Covenant ATM.

I don't have a two covenant theology.

Gen 49:13

Very informative. Thank you for sharing. I'm part Dutch. My family on my father's side I was able to trace back to the 1600s in Fife, Scotland. Came to America in the l700s to was is now North Carolina (was a colony then), so we were colonists. I grew up in Hampton, Virginia, which was the first English-speaking settlement in America in 1610. My first relative born in America was named Moses!

Israel's restoration is all about G-d.

Don't the churches that speak out against the restoration of Israel realize that they are opposing the sanctification of G-d's name?

That's what the Bible says.

Yes, G-d loves the nation of Israel “for the father's sakes.” (Rom 11:28) and regards it as “the apple of his eye.” (Zec 2:8). But the modern national restoration of the Jews, manifested in the state of Israel, is first and foremost about Him and the restoration of the holiness of His name among the nations.

Early in the Bible, we see Moses taking advantage of the Lord's good name to convince the Almighty to spare the rebellious Israelites.

And Moses besought the Lord his G-d, and said, Lord, why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy people, which thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand? Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, and say, For mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from thy fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against thy people. Ex 32:11-12

Moses knew that G-d wanted to exalt His name and make it known among the nations (Ex 9:16).

No passage shows this more clearly than Isaiah, which states:

For my name's sake will I defer mine anger, and for my praise will I refrain for thee, that I cut thee not off. Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction. For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another. Isa 48:9-11

And this passage also says very clearly why G-d could not leave Israel in exile forever after He had chosen it as His special possession (Deu 7:6) and inheritance (Deu 32:9).

What would the nations say?

It would certainly reflect badly on His name if Israel were to be cast off forever. This then also calls into question the Christian notion of “replacement theology”. If G-d made a poor choice in Israel, or was ultimately unable to make of His people what He originally intended, then that doesn't say much about Him as an omnipotent and omniscient G-d.

It was precisely to silence such nonsense that G-d made good on His promises, that He made it abundantly clear to the whole world that He keeps the covenant by bringing the dry bones of Israel back to life and thereby restoring the holiness of His name

Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their own way and by their doings:... I poured my fury upon them... And I scattered them among the heathen,... And when they entered unto the heathen, whither they went, they profaned my holy name, when they said to them, These are the people of the Lord, and are gone forth out of his land. Ez 36:16-20

It is not that Israel went into exile cursing the name of G-d. But the very fact that they had to be punished in this way, after having had such an intimate relationship with Him, was a defilement of His name.

The Lord, however, had concern for His holy name

Therefore say unto the house of Israel, thus saith the Lord G-d; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went. And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the Lord, saith the Lord G-d, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes. Hes 36:22-23

Did we understand the last part?

The Lord, the G-d of heaven and earth, has decided to vindicate His holy name by restoring Israel.

That's what it's all about. And it's all there in the Scriptures, printed in black and white. This makes it all the more astonishing that there are still supposedly Bible-believing churches that actively oppose this miraculous restoration by joining secular efforts to delegitimize the Jewish state.

The arguments that the state of Israel is imperfect and commits crimes (even if the accusations are usually exaggerated or false) are irrelevant from a spiritual standpoint. This is not about Israel's worthiness. It is about His name. The Bible could not be clearer on this point.

I think it would be wise to find a new church if yours is on the wrong side of this debate.

The coming tribulation is also called the time of trouble for Jacob

Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble, but he shall be saved out of it. Jer 30:7

It is the time in which G-d acts in a special way with Israel and with the nations in connection with Israel. The descendants of Jacob are in great distress

Therefore fear thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith the Lord; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and none shall make him afraid. Jer 30:10

But fear not thou, O my servant Jacob, and be not dismayed, O Israel: for, behold, I will save thee from afar off, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and be in rest and at ease, and none shall make him afraid. Jer 46:27

It is the furnace of misery that G-d will use to chastise and purify Israel,

Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction. Isa 48:10

while He makes His mighty name known to the apostate nations through terrible judgments

For I am with thee, saith the Lord, to save thee: though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered thee, yet I will not make a full end of thee: but I will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished. Jer 30:11

Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein; the world, and all things that come forth of it. For the indignation of the Lord is upon all nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter. Their slain also shall be cast out, and their stink shall come up out of their carcases, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood. Isa 34:1-3

The nations shall see and be confounded at all their might: they shall lay their hand upon their mouth, their ears shall be deaf. They shall lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth: they shall be afraid of the Lord our G-d, and shall fear because of thee. Micah 7:16-17

Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the Lord... So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am the Lord, the Holy One in Israel. Ez 38:23 .39:7

Today, Christianity, which can be identified with the modern descendants of the ancient house of Israel after the division or the 10 lost tribes, is entrenched in the sins of Jeroboam and will therefore be rebuked just like the house of Judah.

The correction of the entire house of Israel will take place through the purification of Ephraim and Judah and the judgment of the nations. Both houses will have to go into captivity again, resulting in a second exodus that will overshadow the first in all respects.

It is precisely in G-d's dealings with Israel that we can see His mercy and patience. Even if He must exercise judgment because of His holiness,

Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble, but he shall be saved out of it. Jer 30:7

so in His grace He begins again with His people anew.

In the image of the stone, G-d informs us that He Himself will one day establish a kingdom,

which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, Dan 2:44b

It is the time when He will turn back to His earthly people

Thus saith the Lord G-d, Behold, I will lift up mine hand to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people: and they shall bring thy sons [the people of Israel] in their arms [to the land of Israel], Isa 49:22

In the millennial kingdom, a time will dawn when G-d will again acknowledge His earthly people and establish eternal justice.

But when He begins something new and perfect, it will be on a different, perfect foundation to which man can add nothing and which is therefore completely independent of him.

His people had broken the first covenant and as a consequence they had come under judgment. But on the basis of His own death, Lord Jesus Christ will renew the old covenant with His faithful people and place the Torah within Israel and write it on their hearts.

But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of G-d and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. Rev 20:5-6

As this text says, the faithful followers of Lord Jesus were already resurrected at the beginning of the 1000 years and reign together with Jesus in heaven.

This or something similar can be read in the relevant texts.

But reigning also requires the governed.

We read about this in Revelation

And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; Rev 2:26-27

About those who participate in the first resurrection, it says that G-d will make them kings and priests

And hast made us unto our G-d kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. Rev 5:10

Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of G-d and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. Rev 20:6

Kings are those who will ensure the enforcement of G-d's law (Hebrew: Torah) in the Millennium, priests are those who will teach G-d's law in the Millennium.

In Daniel we read:

and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth. Dan 2:35b

The stone that breaks loose is a reference to the Messiah who comes to establish the kingdom of G-d in power and glory. It signifies, as Daniel explains, a future and permanent kingdom of G-d on earth.

The Commentary of the Old Testament notes the following:

Daniel 2, the everlasting kingdom of G-d is simply placed over against the kingdoms of the world; a kingdom which to all eternity shall never be destroyed and which shall crush all the kingdoms of the world Tthe Messianic kingdom has the glory and dominion over all the kingdoms under heaven, according to Daniel 2 and 7, we see the kingdom of heaven upon earth

Daniel's prophecy is in agreement with Isaiah:

They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea. And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.
Isa 11:9-10

We read further:

And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him. Dan 7:27

The Jamieson Fausset Brown Bible Commentary writes here as a note:

greatness of the kingdom under . . . whole heaven-The power, which those several kingdoms had possessed, shall all be conferred on Messiah's kingdom. “Under . . . heaven” shows it is a kingdom on earth, not in heaven.

Isaiah says

And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. Isa 2:2

This prophecy predicts a time when the future government of the Messiah will exist and rule over all earthly governments and countries.

This prophetic understanding of a divine kingdom is at the center of both the message and the future task of the Messiah.

In many other prophecies, a future king is foretold who will be descended from the lineage of King David, referred to as the Messiah or Iésous (LXX), and will rule the world

Isaiah writes:

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever.
Isa 9:6-7

In the same way, the angel Gabriel told Mary about her son just before she was conceived:

He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord G-d shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. Lk 1:32

When the Messiah preached about the kingdom of G-d, He meant a literal government, an organizational structure with the authority of G-d behind it. As far as literalness is concerned, we read in Jeremiah, for example, of the resurrection of David to eternal life in the kingdom of G-d, who will then be king over the house of Israel and the house of Judah.

The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying, Thus speaketh the Lord G-d of Israel, saying, Write thee all the words that I have spoken unto thee in a book. For, lo, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith the Lord: and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it. And these are the words that the Lord spake concerning Israel and concerning Judah. For thus saith the Lord; We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace. Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness? Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble, but he shall be saved out of it. For it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall no more serve themselves of him: But they shall serve the Lord their G-d, and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them. Jer 30:1-9

This is about the resurrection of David to eternal life in the kingdom of G-d and he will then be king over the house of Israel and the house of Judah. Under the authority of the Messiah, the firstfruits will assist King David of Israel, the man after G-d's own heart, who will be resurrected and restored to his previous task of leading the twelve tribes of Israel.

The apostles and prophets will also hold correspondingly high positions or offices in G-d's kingdom. In the inspired parable of the entrusted pounds, the proven servants of G-d are given dominion over cities in G-d's government. Thus it becomes clear that the Father and His Son have planned a precise governmental structure, with clearly defined areas of responsibility for Abraham, Moses, David, the apostles, etc.

Certain rulers who came into contact with this message recognized its political significance and saw it as a threat to their own power. Such considerations played a role in the crucifixion.

And they began to accuse him, saying, We found this fellow perverting the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, saying that he himself is Christ a King. Lk 23:2

And from thenceforth Pilate sought to release him: but the Jews cried out, saying, If thou let this man go, thou art not Caesar's friend: whosoever maketh himself a king speaketh against Caesar. John 19:12

Herod, for example, who had been appointed by the Romans, recognized in the Messiah a possible rival. He asked the chief priests and the scribes about the place of birth in order to eliminate the threat to his reign

When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born. And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet, And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel. Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared. And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also. When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was. When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense and myrrh. And being warned of G-d in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way. Mt 2:3-12

To enter this kingdom, G-d must transform man from physical, mortal life and give him spiritual immortality. The Messiah will rule over a literal physical kingdom

I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed. Dan 7:13-14

According to this prophecy, G-d will give Him an eternal kingdom in which He will rule over all nations and people (physical people on earth)

And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me; That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel. Lk 22:29
