You have to consider the speaker. Biden has never advocated violence in elections. He never advocated riots, insurrections, lawsuits, manipulation.

Because such horrific incidents have become almost commonplace, some people hear the word "beat" and forget it is tied to elections.

People who believe in election violence will hear the word "beat" and think violence--because they've seen that happen.

But not from Biden. Beat means "defeat" in a fair election.
