You still do not get the problem. Globe is not some theoretical principle we debate in books. Its what we know is there, because we actually looked, measured, calculated. No amount of ancient literature can change that.

Sigh. Look up. You will see the ISS or one of thousands of satellites. Its not just a math on a board, we actually looked and saw the globe. We are out there.

Even you personally can send a cam attached to a balloon so high that you will see at least the curvature of the Earth.

Yes, Bible is inspired in main theological and moral points. The rest is human work. And humans can get things wrong - numbers, places, shape of the Earth, anatomy, botany, names, the order of events...

And guess what? It does not matter at all, once you give up your rigid religious ideas how the Bible must be inspired.

If the authors of the Bible were making a definite statement about the shape of the earth - which has nothing to do with salvation or the Christian faith - they could only have done it based on what they knew, or could observe, at the time.
They could not see hundreds of years ahead and comment on scientific discoveries that had not been made. Otherwise, they might well have given instructions about mobile phones; turning them off when in church. Or computers/the internet. Or IVF, cloning people, genetic modification and a dozen other things.

The Bible isn't a science text book, anyway.

Buy a telescope, then, to see better. Its not that complicated (or even that expensive), if its something you are interested in so deeply.

Nobody hinders you from becoming an amateur astronomer. You will spend your time better than watching silly flat earthers' youtube videos.

Perhaps you can explain with your flat earth model, how the direct flight from Sydney to Santiago takes less time than the direct flight from Sydney to Los Angeles?

Why dont you use it then? If you caught the ISS or any of the satellites, you debunked your own view, easily and quickly. There are many instructions online how to see the ISS or satellites, through a telescope.
