  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Trump is STILL in Mourning over the Loss of Joe Biden

Well she absolutely can run for another 4. The question is whilst a president cannot run for 3 consecutive terms, is their a rule against running again after losing the presidency. For example could Obama run for a third term?
Twenty-second Amendment Section 1:
No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once. But this Article shall not apply to any person holding the office of President when this Article was proposed by the Congress, and shall not prevent any person who may be holding the office of President, or acting as President, during the term within which this Article becomes operative from holding the office of President or acting as President during the remainder of such term

"No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice," Amendment 22. Nothing about serving, just being elected.

Which means, that if Trump claims that he really won the 2020 election, he has disqualified himself.

Yep. I've already posted the amendment at post #16. And yes if Donald's correct he is ineligible to run.

“This was an overthrow of a president. This was an overthrow,” Trump said at a rally in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., on Saturday, referring to Harris replacing Biden on the ticket. He later added: “They deposed a president. It was a coup of a president. This was a coup.”

Poor Donald, still mourning...but on a brighter note, he can pretend Joe is still the nominee tonight when he speaks at the DNC.

...yesterday in PA (still missing Joe)

“What happened to Biden? I was running against Biden and now I’m running against someone else,” Trump said. “I said, ‘Who am I running against, Harris?’ I said, ‘Who the h*** is Harris?’”

Is it just me, but if a candidate for office doesn't know who the sitting Vice President is, maybe they aren't mentally fit for office.
