What is the Rakiah in the Bible?


In the first chapter of Genesis, Moses wrote “and God said let there be RAKIAH”, that is, “an expanse”, (which in certain texts of the Scriptures is translated as “firmament”) “in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the water.

So what is dividing the waters above from the waters below ?

On the globe, our eye level is at a tangent to the Earth's surface, which is always falling away from eye level. I think I understand ur view. U seek a theology that fits ur personality. A true seeker of the Lord must eliminate their man created ideology and surrender their open mind to the higher authority. The Bible is not perfect and has some errors but since you fit into the Christian category of the righteous much true biblical understanding will be lost to you. This is not ur fault but just the hand that was dealt to you.

I seek a view that is internally consistent and not being debunked by just learning more (either about the world or about the Bible itself).

This endeavor placed me into the position I mentioned. All other views I see being mentioned and believed in are significantly problematic.
