  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It's how the world works. You want him to be surprised when he goes to a concert and finds the men's has women in it and he doesn't know why or why nobody else seems to care?
Are you kidding. Like we've said society is all.around us. We dint need teachers instructing the kids in ideology.

If the kid goes into the public restroom and finds a woman in it, he should walk out cause he's in the wrong restroom. Just like we've done for all time.

Who's we? See, the restroom thing is just customary behaviour, not a moral issue and custom can change over time.

Leave the customs alone, that is not your job.
For the most part, if the customs themselves are not disruptive.

This is where liberals speak with forked tongue. They don't want true diversity, they want skin-deep diversity.

Parents, we are talking about peoples Children here.

It is the customs we have

Leave the customs alone, that is not your job.
Of course it is. It's everybody's job as we all, by our actions and beliefs, contribute to the culture we share.

That "we" BTW, includes many parents who, if they learned that a girl had entered the bathroom that their boy used, would not really care. and would be baffled by people who made a big deal of it.

Except the girl's parents.

OK, forgot that.

The "we" also includes parents who don't care very much if their girl goes into the boy's room. It may be a minor disciplinary issue if the school has strict rules about who goes into which bathrooms, but that's all.

I know what Communism is. Now, can you answer my question directly?

"Would you consider the UK a communist country? What about Denmark?"
It's looks like to me it's going down that road ... as is America .... communism usually don't happen all at once ... it starts with socialism.

Communism, sometimes referred to as revolutionary socialism, also originated as a reaction to the Industrial Revolution, and came to be defined by Marx's theories—taken to their extreme end. In fact, Marxists often refer to socialism as the first, necessary phase on the way from capitalism to communism.

(in Marxist theory) a transitional social state between the overthrow of capitalism and the realization of communism.

Communism. Socialism is an economic model with the state (not the workers, except in a metaphorical sense) owning or controlling the means of production (businesses, factories, farms etc).

This is going on (controlling production) .... governments controlling businesses, factories, farms etc. through regulation and through the climate change agenda.

You keep defining communism for me- that is not what I asked.

You say that it looks to you like it is 'going down that road'. What aspect of UK or USA (your choice) is indicating that they are on their way to communism? I know what socialism is as well so there is no need to define it for me. What I'd be interested to know is what YOU think is happening in either the US or the UK that suggests communism is down the road.

Please refrain from defining anything; I'm interested in YOUR thoughts.

The new customs are disruptive. Nobody voted for them either.

They want control.

No, it is your job to teachy them academically.

This is untrue. You are bringing your private culture. Leave it alone.

That has nothing to do with school choice. It is why we want school choice. You are not gonna let go of attempting to control others are you?

I can teach to read, write and do arithmetic adequately by the time they are in six grade. Now what? Is that when you want them to go to work?

What "private culture" is that? As far as I know I'm an American and participate in American cultures.

How so? How are less rigid bathroom rules "controlling?" They sound less controlling to me.

The teachings which parents did not know were being taught until covid

Going beyond academics into "social" teachings. Things that parents don't want taught. You know all this why pretend?

And it also doesn't have to change if people don't want it to. That's the beauty of a representative government.

Each area can decide for itself.

Right. Kind of like the Amish.

It's definitely starting to lean that way. Socialist government control.

Starting with the removal of free speech.

Dictating words: The Culture-Control Left and the war against free speech

UK government issues warning: ‘Think before you post’

A two tier justice system is also a typical indicator of a socialist lurch to the left.

This stuff is just the beginning. It's going to get far worse if the UK keeps going this direction.

It's been that way since the Public Order Act 1986. Nearly 40 years. When does the communism kick in?

What ties it to socialism? I don't see the economic angle to it.
Silly goose! Not being able to use hate speech to target certain demographics clearly indicates that "at a certain stage of development, the material productive forces of society (will) come into conflict with the existing relations of production or—this merely expresses the same thing in legal terms—with the property relations within the framework of which they have operated hitherto. From forms of development of the productive forces these relations turn into their fetters. Then begins an era of social revolution."

So get your hate speech on, I guess?
