In 2024, that is less likely for me to happen, and I might vote 3rd party, cos this woke nonsense has got to go. Democrats were much better 10 to 50 years ago, same with Republicans. We need another John McCain in 2024.

I do disagree that laws should based off the morality precepts of one’s religion, regardless of which religion it is. It’s incongruent with the principles of the US.

I may be misreading Yttrium's point, but Walz is the governor of the state government, not a dictator responsible for every activity that goes on in the state.

This seems to be a small government solution: staying out of people's healthcare business as they consult with their private physicians.

Unless of course the parents disagree regarding their minor child. Then big government is okay.

Uh huh. Gender affirming care can include any of those things. The doctors recommend what they conclude is the most appropriate treatment for the situation. Gender reassignment surgery is very rarely if ever going to be appropriate for little kids.

And yet it's done on kids nonetheless.
