  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What happens to the one who commits suicide?

People who are mentally ill and so severely depressed that they would rather die by their own hand than live are not accountable for themselves.
this is always a case by case basis and hard to determine with any certainty.

I like to say that judgement/salvation could be partly conditional based upon some conditions maybe, but that none of us human beings can know, but only God can know fully, etc. And that God already does know, but that none of us can fully know fully, etc. And that it might not be the exact same or completely equal (but only in our first initial eyes/judgement) for each individual person when they are each being judged each individually, etc. And that none of us can know, etc. Therefore we shouldn't judge anyone's eternal salvation/destination for almost anything since none of us can know, etc. As human beings, we have to love all, and give everyone the benefit of the doubt when it comes to eternal salvation, since none of us can know, etc. And that if we don't fully follow this fully, it could maybe become a condition in our own eternal salvation/destination maybe, or God might ask us about this on judgement day, etc.

God Bless.

Yes.
Although it's not for us to judge anyway. We can speculate, but we don't know how God will judge.
