  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

MILWAUKEE — The 2024 Republican National Convention opens Monday with the unprecedented and grisly backdrop of its presumptive nominee having survived an assassination attempt.

Former President Donald Trump arrived for the convention in Wisconsin Sunday, a day after a shooter fired a bullet that Trump said struck him in the upper ear just minutes into a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Authorities say the suspect, Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, shot and killed Corey Comperatore, a former volunteer fire chief, and critically injured two more attendees before the Secret Service returned fire and killed him.

Twenty-four hours later, Crooks’ motive remained unknown. Members of Congress joined prominent social media accounts in filling the void with evidence-free assertions about what inspired the suspect and his political beliefs.

In an Oval Office address Sunday evening, President Joe Biden pleaded for Americans to “lower the temperature” of their politics, saying political differences should be resolved at the ballot box.

Trump decided to keep his plans and fly here Sunday, saying he did not want to let a “potential assassin” delay his arrival.

There are many unanswered questions.

On Trump’s to-do list heading into the RNC was revealing his running mate. With the assassination attempt dominating the news and the mood, will Trump reveal a name? Will Trump speak? We’re waiting to see how the assassination attempt will influence the lineup and the themes.

Social media platforms flooded with ‘staged’ claims

There can be no doubt that the devil has motivated many government officials since the Obama administration to try to unjustly, illegally, and mercilessly destroy Trump for wicked reasons. If actual members of the secret service conspired with the shooter it would not surprise me in the least.

Anyone would have to be nutz to conspire with a 20 year old kitchen worker to assassinate a presidential candidate

When I hear someone in the media saying they’re going to fact check vital stories, personally I feel kind of insulted. And gaslighted. It’s like they’re telling me I can’t see the obvious for myself and they’re trying to get me to see things from their spin.

For example, I can see videos of the lady Secret Service agent that was supposedly sent out to protect Trump and was barely at the level of his shoulders.

I don’t need someone to “fact check” for me and explain it all away that some short weak person was capable of shielding a big person like Trump. I can see through a political correctness excuse to actual concrete data recorded right in front of my eyes.

We have all kinds of attendee videos and verbal reports of what happened on July 13. We know how the Secret Service is supposed to operate. And we can see as plain as day that they didn’t just get careless, but they flat out defied their rules. “Oops! Our bad!” is about all they’ve had to say

Although it is presented as satire this video points out vital areas of failure by the Secret Service on July 13:
The Secret Service During The Assassination Attempt from JP Reacts channel.

I only caught parts of the grilling by congress over the Director of Secret Service, but I saw that at least one member there flat out asked Cheatle if the SSA was part of a stand down. Cheatle answered nothing of substance to anyone, just stonewalled.

When also grilled by congress, her director kept stonewalling too,

Doubtful.

I am not a fan of Trump. I’m not really a fan of Israel, though I do know that our Savior is coming back there, and that a remnant of Israelis will reach salvation according to the Bible.

I am not going to get into which presidents did this and that to destroy other countries because that isn’t the purpose of this string.

I was talking about how the media is trying to gaslight me into not seeing what is right in front of my eyes. Specifically in relation to July 13.

I was indirectly talking about how criminal and thuggish it is for anyone to try to use any organizations to assassinate a political candidate.

If you don’t like murder, I’ll tell you the number one reason why I’ll be voting for Trump and not for Kamala. Trump has been somewhat better on the abortion issue than Democrats. I said somewhat. I wish he had done a lot more.

Kamala is all for killing babies that have not yet been born. Even if the preborn baby is a boy, so what, she promotes the lie that he’s just part of a woman’s body and should be gotten rid of at any
time undesired.

Thanks to politicians like her, there are now in some states, full-term healthy babies
being born only to be then murdered in abortion clinics.

So, dear, while I think it’s great that you’re concerned about unnecessary slaughter in other countries, you don’t seem concerned about Kamala
wanting to go on with the killing of millions of babies in our own country.

And they are not uncommonly killed in later trimesters while they have full pain sensors. I won’t describe the ways in which they die. It is too grizzly. But maybe that won’t matter to you if you’re voting for Kamala.
