The real problem is trying to use human reasoning to figure out what God is doing in the earth today.

If God wanted to save Trump the shooter could never have been born or been struck by a meter on the way to the site. Or he could have been taken out before he made the shot but wasn't so God had to intervene.

The problem here is that Trump has so been demonized by the left that many cannot see any use for Trump being allowed to live but thank God he survived.

So, then you are saying God allowed the shooter to get as far as he did, but also allowed for Trump to be able to avoid it at the last minute/second.

Can I now ask you how that is any different from what I have been saying?

I suggest you do a deep dive into scripture and specifically study how God used leaders in the Old Testament. You will find that NONE of them were perfect men and some were evil men. The point is God has purposes and plans we will never understand with the type of human reasoning questions you are putting forward here. Did you stop to figure that all of the above life purposes may have been fulfilled. I don't know that but it is a possibility. What I do know is that you are trying oversimplify a complicated fact of life with humans reasoning to explain what an all powerful God can and cannot do . Good luck with that.

He seems such a divisive figure somebody who would break the current world order jeopardizing the freedoms of countries all over the world. Ukraine and Taiwan are two examples. He is a proven liar, adulterer and fraudster so he has not earned any special grace, so why save the man? What does God want to do here?

But you ask a question that we would wonder about. And it comes down to God's involvement in our mundane affairs. We see natural disasters taking some and leaving other. I suppose we all have had close calls and thought. "Wow, Thank you."

We can pray for divine protection and yet things still happen. We have to accept our ignorance. There is so much we do not and cannot know about God and diving governance as the planets orbit. All we can really do is trust that no matter what happens or doesn't happen, there is a larger plan, a larger context that is meaningful and divine. All we have to do is our best to be kind, patient and generous.

I believe Trump was Gods choice in 2016, 2020 and 2024. Sometimes men get the king they desire not the one God prefers. That is scriptural!
