I think the point is that you cannot use 'survived assassination attempts' as a metric for how much God is protecting you.

Oh yes I can , you are free not too. It goes deeper than this one event. I believe God's hand has been on Trump from the very beginning. I don't have the baggage of hatred to weigh me down.

I couldn't disagree with this statement more. IMO your statement is based more in political bias than scripture.

Scripture is clear God choses, sanctions, anoints, wills, allows or whatever term you like, leaders of nations. I believe the comment is out of line with scripture, reality and good taste.

It is very clear from scripture some leaders are in the perfect will of God and some are just allowed to be there for reasons known only to God.

Because He only has flawed men to work with. Jesus rose and went back to the Father. He is the only one who would meet most peoples criteria for a leader.

It is my belief Trump was spared by God because Trump is the one God chose to use at this time in our nations history. Perfection is not a requirement to be used by God. Just look at all of the leaders in scripture, how many of those would pass the test imposed by many today who
claim to know what is needed for this country.

Sometimes leaders are chosen and anointed by God to lead nations and sometimes leaders are allowed to fill a position out of the perfect will of God. I don't think I need to explain how that applies today , it should be obvious.

I believe Trump was Gods choice in 2016, 2020 and 2024. Sometimes men get the king they desire not the one God prefers. That is scriptural!

And it is my belief that such a line of thinking is blasphemous.

Why is the protection of God such a hard to believe concept? The Bible is full of examples of the intervention of God in the affairs of men.

He's also not anymore special to God than the other two people that died either, etc.

And that is "very, very wrong", and is also "very, very much in-error to an exceedingly excessive degree", etc.

Because he wasn't anymore special than the other two people who died, etc.

If God has decided, already a long, long time ago, that it is someone's time to live, or it is someone's time to die, then He doesn't check with you, or me, or even Donald Trump, etc, to see if they either approve, or disapprove of it morally. He knows we wouldn't fully understand fully at this point anyway, etc. But He will cause us to know and/or understand all things someday, etc. And at that point, no one will be able to disagree with Him about anything really, because we will all be in full agreement with Him about everything at that point fully, etc.

You saw the video. Trump turned his head at precisely thee right moment. Look believe what you wish.

If God wanted to save Trump the shooter could never have been born or been struck by a meter on the way to the site. Or he could have been taken out before he made the shot but wasn't so God had to intervene.

The problem here is that Trump has so been demonized by the left that many cannot see any use for Trump being allowed to live but thank God he survived.
