Sin separates us from God, we deserve God's wrath and death, and there is nothing we can do about it.

God in His love send His Son, who was without sin. He died as a perfect sacrifice for believers. He paid for all the sins for all the believers, so they are sinless. God cannot judge his people in any way because His people have already been judged in Jesus. When Christ drank the cup of God’s wrath he drank it to the dregs. There is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus and that means on the final day and every day until then. God is never judging you for your sin if you are in Christ.

Because Jesus' sacrifice is perfect, nothing more can be added to it. God gave everything for our salvation, He gave Himself. What more do you want to add? Either Christ is your Saviour or He is not.

Your deeds will never be enough to save you. Christ taught that only pure hearted will see God. And that's our problem, none of us have a pure heart. Jeremiah 17 9 ' The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick;' Our hearts are wicked, if we tried to approach the Holy God, we would burn.

The heart is always the seat of our troubles. Matthew 15:19 'For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false witness, slander.' The heart of a man, as the result of the fall and as the result of sin, is desperately wicked and deceitful. Nothing that is unclean or impure or has any defiling touch about it, shall enter into Heavenly Jerusalem. To be pure in heart you must be like Jesus, which we are not. Only God can cleanse you from all your sins.

As Paul wrote in Romans 5:1 'Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.'

You're not wrong. A person is offered salvation by faith through grace. Grace meaning the unmerited favor of God. It is not a reward for anything someone may have done previously, see Eph 2:1-9. After faith comes baptism, which washes away previous sins, see Acts 2:38, Romans 3:25, then the Holy Spirit is gifted through the laying on of hands, see Acts 8:14-17. Afterwards one is expected to "work out your own salvation", see Phl 2:12, Eph 2:10. If one gives up along the way he is right back where he started from or even worse, see Heb 6:4-8.

Jesus saved humanity as a whole. Each individual is on his/her own. One has to go through a logic exercise to get this.

In the parable of the talents in Matthew 25, Christians are tossed into hell merely for being too lazy to avoid the harvests shortly before the arrival of Jesus. Does that sound like being automatically saved?

Divine favor, is Grace. Our Father did not have to come in the Flesh to bring us His plan for salvation through His Son Jesus Christ of Nazareth. But He did. Now all, who love Him , repent and believe WILL have everlasting life. He will make His Home in the regenerated believer through His Holy Spirit. We walk with His Spirit daily , who is our Helper. We remain " In Him", through obedience. If we " quench " His Holy Spirit, one can apostizise. This us how we show our faith through our works.

Grace is unmerited in which God shows us mercy, kindness, and patience instead of the judgment that we deserve for sinning against Him. God's grace cannot be earned by our actions/performance/works. So, our Apostle Paul here does not say we are saved by faith through grace. But we were saved by grace through faith.

I personally understand this means we have been saved by God's working in us (grace), by means of spiritual connection with God (faith > 1 Corinthians 6:17). Grace is His working to change us, and faith is His connection with our spirit so His working affects us.

"But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him." (1 Corinthians 6:17)

So, one of the first basic actions of salvation is how God joins us spiritually with Himself so He can so personally share His own self with us: we are turned "from the power of Satan to God" (in Acts 26:18).

And this process changes us so we become submissive to God working in our wills and actions >

"for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure." (Philippians 2:13)

It depends on what each person means.

There are people who trust that once they are saved they can do even anything and still go to Heaven. This is wrong.

Because once we are in union with God, we become submissive to Him and He has us doing His works. And this comes with how He corrects our character to become how He is holy and how Jesus is pleasing and submissive to our Heavenly Father > Hebrews 12:4-14; this correction of character is guaranteed to every child of God (Hebrews 12:8).

Thus we already are in Heaven's love, right now, even, not procrastinating Heaven until later >

"Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us." (Romans 5:5)

First, we have been saved, by being brought to repentance which gets us started in Jesus. Then with God, *how God has us doing this*, we work out our salvation . . . meaning how we minister to one another and ourselves so we are perfected in Jesus > see Colossians 1:28-29 > doing this "according to His working" in us . . . how God has us succeeding in sharing with Him.

God's grace is that He God, is offering the way back to His Life (Eternal Life) by simple belief in Jesus. A person does not have to suffer (like Jesus did), keep God's law, repent of sins, or follow any other man created requirements.

So when a person understands what believing in Jesus is and they believe in Jesus. They immediately cross over from death to life and become a permanent born again child of God.

One important area of God's grace that is often overlooked and not believed by many in christian circles.

Is that God's grace extends to not only, the free offer of Eternal Life, but that also included in God's grace, Is that after a person believes in Jesus, they can never lose their family membership as a child of God, in God's family.

No matter if they lose their faith and become an atheist or end up hating God. They will always remain a permanent born again child of God.

Grace is God’s benevolent kindness that is given based upon His goodness without regard to the worthiness of the recipient.

The good things we do don’t give us grace. Grace gives us the good things we do. The good works are those Christ does through us – not earn our salvation but, rather, are the fruits of our salvation. They are the evidence that we have received His grace. Grace-filled hearts perform grace-filled works. 2 Corinthians 5:10 tells us we will be judged by our actions.

It is God that worketh in him to will and to do of His own good pleasure.

In Philippians 2:12, Paul is addressing believers who are already saved. He’s telling us we can work out our salvation because—look at verse 13—God is supplying us the willingness, the power, and even the pleasure in the doing of it. You cannot work out what has not been worked in. You can only work out what has been worked in by God.

God’s Spirit coming into a person’s life inevitably produces the fruit of a good character. We may never become quite perfect (for temptation is always there), but our lives will trend in the direction of “love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control” (Galatians 5:22,23).

All have sinned .... all deserve death ... by the grace of God when we invite Jesus into our hearts He begins His work in the believer .... our lives should be trending away from sin (transgression of the law) ... not towards it ... and He will finish His work ... we need to be open and responsive to the changes He is putting on our hearts and minds our of our love for Him. Throughout our entire earthly lives we are being sanctified (being conformed into Him image) by the Lord. He leads us to be overcomers over sin. He never forces anyone to do anything .... so at anytime one can choose to walk away from their relationship with Him. That is .... one can fall from Gods grace (refuse) forfeit their salvation.

Instantly saved? Yes, but is a starting point of being in a saved condition and staying that way. Salvation can be forfeited if we so choose.

No such thing as once saved always saved (and that's the end of it). We are not to continue in sin (transgression of the law) .. but rather with the power of Christ He will help us overcome it. We will mess up here and there ... but we persevere.

The law leads us to Christ (makes us aware of our sinful condition) ... after one receives Jesus as Lord and Savior then His love working in the believer leads them back to law and helps them to keep it out of love and for no other reasons... His doing ... not ours. His work is Love .... our response is to be a reciprocal love.

Philippians 1:6 ESV​

And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

The NT disagrees with you. . .

It is by grace you are saved, through faith. . .not by works, so that no one can boast. (Eph 2:8-9)

Faith removes one's condemnation (Ro 5:18) and places one in the body of Christ (salvation from God's condemnation), where you then continue to grow in your salvation, by sanctification through obedience in the Holy Spirit.

I understand and believe all of that. I understandwe are saved from Gods wrath, thank You Jesus! But is justified enough to be called up with Jesus in the clouds? Hes coming back for a Holy bride, justification saves us from Gods wrath but is that enough to make us holy, or is sanctification the whole point of GRACE, for us to confidently reach glory to glory.. because i don't want to miss the calling up in the clouds.... and I feel a call other than being comfy in justification... aren't you feeling a call to holiness?

In Psalms 119:29-30, he wanted to put false ways far from him, for God to be gracious to him by teaching him to obey His law, and he chose the way of faith by setting it before him, so this has always been the one and only way of salvation by grace through faith. In Exodus 33:13, Moses wanted God to be gracious to him by teaching him to walk in His way that he might know Him, and in Matthew 7:23, Jesus said that he would tell those who are workers of lawlessness to depart from him because he never knew them, so the goal of the law is to know God and Jesus, which is eternal life (John 17:3), and which again is salvation by grace through faith. In Genesis 6:8-9, Noah found grace in the eyes of God, he was a righteous man, and he walked with God, so God was gracious to him by teaching him to walk in His way and he was righteous because he obeyed through faith. In Romans 1:5, we have received grace in order to bring about the obedience of faith. In Ephesians 2:8-10, we are new creations in Christ to do good works, so while Paul denies that we can earn our salvation as the result of our works, being a doer of good works is nevertheless a central part of our salvation. In Titus 2:11-13, our salvation is described as being trained by grace to do what is godly, righteous, and good, and to renounce doing what is ungodly, so we are not extrinsically required to have first done those works in order to earn our salvation as the result and we are not extrinsically required to do those works as the result of having first been saved, but rather God graciously teaching us to experience being doers of those works is intrinsically part of His gift of salvation.

Salvation is the ticket, we must constantly remember it's a gift. We must work to obtain the blessings.
If you lost your coupon, or gave it away, how would you enjoy free food?
That's a very primitive understanding, mind you.
All will give an account of the lives we lived, the bible tells us. Will the Master be satisfied with how I spent my time here? I must work very hard (no one honestly tells you that at first...you know?) to control, contain, and condition myself to resist sin and temptation and do what's right. But nothing worth doing is easy, right? Someone like my sister isn't tempted toward substance abuse...whereas, I spent many years addicted. But even though it's easier for some people vs others to "be good" and "do what's right"....this doesn't mean that they don't work at their salvation. Work out your salvation with fear and trembling. Why would we fear and tremble? Fear the Lord thy God. Why? Even king David feared God. Why?
would you rather fear mankind who could harm your mortal self, or God Almighty who could not only harm your mortal self but your immortal self in hell?
We fear God because He is righteous, and our sin grieves Him. Not only that, but if I walked on your land uninvited, would I be in trespass? Sometimes we don't realize the things we do for ourselves trespass on others, not only humans but our Father. On His creation. We have to account for that trespass, much like an arrested person has to go to court typically (or jail) when they trespass.
Ok, so....God forgives us. Does that mean we should just walk all over Him? No. Not if we love Him. Not if we truly honor Him. Many claim Jesus, and that they "honor" God. Consider "Honor thy mother and father". Did it honor my father that i was a drug addict? Did he forgive me? yes. did it honor him and my mother? no. it put them to shame. it disgraced our family. Much in the same way, the family of God should resemble the Father, because we care about each other. We care that our Father cares. He cares that we are better than to defile ourselves and each other.
Natural consequence, like my being arrested for trespassing...happens with spiritual matters, too. Have you ever known someone who got a bad consequence from something they didn't really think was that bad? But why does consequence happen? Even science says every action has an equal and opposite reaction.
Imagine someone curses at me for no reason, but they need a loan. I'm not wanting to be around them, because their words are ugly. How can they expect to borrow money when they've just cursed at me?
Ok, so God isn't an ATM, but He IS our Father. If I cursed out my earthly dad, he wouldn't want to loan me money, either. But he would forgive me. God forgives. That is how we live our lives with grace, in faith. We believe in Him, in His perfection, righteousness, grace, mercy, forgiveness. We believe that He is God, Creator, and He's right. We mess up, ask forgiveness, and try harder. He provides grace. Try again, Child. He gives forgiveness.

We are saved (justified) AND sustained by God's undeserved grace alone - through faith in His Son Jesus - as our Savior, Lord, and interceding High Priest. No more, no less.

Works come about through subsequent submission to His will, and are an expression of our gratitude for His grace - and in awe of the growing relevation of how beautiful He really is - something we perceive more fully as we are being sanctified and conformed into the image of Christ. No more. No less.
