Just because it's not original doesn't mean it isn't a fair comparison.

Trump has shown himself to be an authoritarian leader and he's created an authoritarian political movement where actual policy matters less than loyalty.

Oh yes, it was just such an awful experience the first time. It's a miracle any of us survived it. Nobody will forget the totalitarian nightmare of 2018.

Repeatedly, in this thread, I posted an article from axios.com analyzing why Donald Trump has distanced himself from Project 2025. Also, it is extremely common for both conservative AND liberal think-tanks to offer up agendas, ideas, and details. However, that NEVER Means that the POTUS or any other politician will do everything... or even anything just like they are advised to do so. I am much more concerned about lobbyists and big money donors than I am about liberal and conservative think-tanks.

You can also plainly see that the Project 2025 is not from the Trump Campaign nor is it from the Republican National Convention. Nor is Project 2025 endorsed by Trump nor the Republican Party.

It is the result of a think tank and not even all it's members agree with it.

Please - let's be intellectually honest

If we're being intellectually honest does that include the many psychiatrists that have diagnosed him with Malignant Narcissistic Personality Disorder? How can he possibly disagree with anyone in this conspiracy who suggests he should run a third time because the 2020 election was 'stolen' from him? How can we believe a thing he says given his speech to lie ratio in the debate - let alone any time he opens his mouth publicly?

Basically - if you want America to turn into Gilead from Handmaid's Tale, vote Trump.
The following 4 minute ad is by the Lincoln Project - a group of Republicans horrified that their party has been co-opted by Trump - and vowing to vote Democrat until Trump is removed.

Interesting contradiction, he knows nothing about Project 2025, so how could he think some of their proposals are absolutely ridiculous?

The one part of Project 2025 we know Trump will do is to re-classify many civil service workers as "political jobs" so that he can replace them with people who will be loyal to him. In fact, if you go fill out the application on the Project 2025 website, you'll notice that many of the questions are about Trump; such as what you think of Trump and what policies of Trump's do you like. Part of this is so, if he ever declares a hurricane is going to threaten Georgia, when that wasn't what was stated, he can get the "scientists" at NOAA to create him a map showing what he wants, rather than Trump having to take a Sharpie to show the hurricane threatening Georgia. And this is also one of the reasons (though a lessor one) why a President being able to fire some experts that are civil servants because they aren't "loyal" is dangerous.

As for the rest, it depends on what Trump wants. There are reports that Trump has approached business leaders and basically stated that he will do what they want for the right donations to his campaign funds. While I'm sure Trump supporters will claim this is false information, it does seem that Trump will tell people what they want to hear, maybe doing it at times if it wins him popularity (such as the wall), but mostly do what will benefit personally.

I see absolutely NOTHING at all in Joe Biden that even comes REMOTELY close to servant leadership. I also see an authoritarian Democratic Party that has been targeting their political opponents with the weaponization of the DOJ and the constant authoritarian lawfare used against conservatives.

Inducing more cynicism about the rule of law is exactly the kind of stuff that's in the playbook of an authoritarian leader.
