Rubbish. You are saying that Option T is a good option because Option B is a bad one. There is no way on Planet Reality that T can be described as anything other than a complete disaster. And I really think that you know that.

And what will your answer be? Well, it won't address your option. You'll knee jerk revert to 'Well, the other guy is just as bad.'

You can't face the reality of the situation.
It’s you that’s living outside reality.
When we go to vote those are the choices we have.
That is reality

I should have said, it sounds like the supposed controversy over project 2025 was cooked up to damage the Trump campaign. So far it seems to be 90% "it's a bad thing" and 10% "this is why it's a bad thing".
The interesting thing is that even conservatives (and Trump himself) don't seem to want it to be associated with the Trump campaign,

Probably because the left is making a boogeyman out of it.
But if there's nothing actually wrong with it, shouldn't the messaging be about how it benefits the country and why it's a good thing? If, as you say, messaging from the left is all about how it's a bad thing without a "why", then it should be easy to counter. But instead, we see Republicans trying to distance themselves. This suggests that they agree that it's a bad thing.

Hey, I was asked what I objected to in Trump's stated plans in his platform. I picked a piece of low hanging fruit.

This thread is about what is and isn't the Trump plan.

Dealing with the debt is not in the Trump plan.

He's going to build walls, deport millions of people, make the economy higher, and lower taxes. If you do the math, it's clear that the plan is to pump and dump. Our posterity's future is the dump.
and Biden wasn't pumping and dumping when he signed off on trillions in new spending, handed out corporate welfare like candy, and used tax dollars to pay off people's student loans?

what part of your brain thinks what Biden did was largely different than what Trump was doing before, only on a larger scale?

Ben Shapiro appearing before congress said it best

Project 2025 is some on the left's Peter Pan/Tinker Bell moment

For those who rely on Fact Checking:

Project 2025 is an effort by the Heritage Foundation, not Donald Trump | Fact check

The claim: Project 2025 is a plan from Trump

A July 5 Facebook post includes nine slides describing supposed policy propositions from former President Donald Trump. The slides include an image of Trump along with the title "Project 2025."

Our rating: False

Project 2025 is a political playbook created by the Heritage Foundation and dozens of other conservative groups, not Trump, who said he disagrees with elements of the effort. There are, however, numerous people involved in Project 2025 who worked in Trump's first administration.

Yes, we know. I don't think that anyone in this thread has claimed that Trump authored Project 2025.

There's no reason why the campaign or the RNC should have anything to say about a non-government private think tank, just because the left is trying to make an issue out of it.

And yet they are saying things about it. Mostly trying to distance themselves.

Why wait until Trump is in office to do anything about these things?

Your guy is in the Whitehouse right now --is there some reason he hasn't done anything to fix social security
I wish he would, to be honest. It wouldn't take much to fix it. But then again, everyone is so concerned about the fact that Biden had a cold.
reduce the debt, or deal with deficits?
As Dick Cheney said, Ronald Reagan proved that deficits don't matter.
Someone is going to have to cut benefits, raise the retirement age, and subject all income to payroll taxes --but that won't happen until the program is totally insolvent. Neither Trump nor Biden are going to touch social security
Raising the limit on income taxed for SS would solve a lot of it. A lot of people insist on taking SS at 62 for some reason, and so educating and/or incentivizing them to wait until Full Retirement Age or longer would also help. Allowing people to wait until 72, with increased benefits, might help as well. It could certainly be done without causing WWIII, but they keep kicking the can down the road.

They're making an issue out of it because it's the Republican agenda. We know this because they said so.

Only because the left is playing transparent games. Can't wait to see what pseudo-issue they come up with next week.

Which one of those is Shapiro? he could play either part.
I hope it's Tinker Bell. Tinker Bell goes away if you stop believing in fairies.
