  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

No need to watch your clip, it's my opinion your a never Trumper
Yeah, I am a never Trumper, and I am proud of that. I know Republicans who are never Trumpers as well, and who will abstain from voting this year. Also, I know some liberals who are fed up with Biden, and will abstain from voting.

Pretty much, yes.
So? Breaking news!
Democrats will vote for Biden. Republicans will voter for Trump.

The issue is the small number of swing voters and how many young Democrats will stay home. There could be a landslide. More likely is that the election will again go to whoever wins in PA, MI and WI.

End of story, there are only (2) candidates come Nov 2024 and you have spoken loud to the forum where you stand
I have spoken loud: Screw both candidates. Biden pushed that woke crap on Easter which reminds of Pergamum from Revelations, which is totally Antichrist, while Trump wants to make us into a theocracy and reminds me of Psalm 10:2-7. Then, if that is the case, then if we get a Muslim president sometime in our lifespans, then the Muslim politician would use that as an excuse to turn us into a Muslim theocracy under Sharia law, which is messed up. As a Christian, I want to protect my Christian freedoms and rights, not create a loophole for a future president to shove Muslim theology on us sometime this century.

You are being blocked, as you do not believe that there are people who are fed up with the choices we have got in 2024. Yes, Trump has said a few truths, and yes, Biden has said lies as well, but based on the two candidates, both suck compared to the candidates we had back in the 2000s. At least the other folks here who are Republican understand that there will be centrists that will sit 2024 out.

Romney 2024 (if that was possible for Romney to run again)

Hypothetically , if you realized you were totally wrong about Trump just before reading this forum thread is it correct to say you still would have posted your video discussing that we are in the end times , because the reasons for this belief are unrelated to Trump ?

My friend, and yes I do consider you and I to friends, I very strongly disagree with the belief that Donald Trump intends on making the USA into a theocracy.

I very much believe that @AlexB23 is not a liberal. He is indeed one of the few centrists, or political independents, on these forums.

Amen, we are close friends here.

I am just nervous about both candidates, and feel that we need someone young, tame, and not woke. We need a young Republican in 2024. Who that is, I am not sure. My Republican friend here, @fli is planning on going for Cheney, but he might go Biden. I am gonna tell him that Liz Cheney is the better option.

Hey, thank you for defending me brother.

And hey, together we can at least go to battle against the left's woke ideologies. :) While I may not like Trump, I do have to give him credit for one thing: He is not woke. So, if we can get some non-woke candidates who are not Trump, I will vote for said non-woke candidate.

My ideal candidate would be anti-woke, pro-Israel, pro-peace, pro-life and pro-environment, as well as being anti-Musk, and against Big Pharma, Big Tech and Big Oil. Liz Cheney might fit some, but not all of that bill.

Edit: I should get this sign (hopefully it is not made in China)

IMO, Liz Cheney or Mitt Romney are better choices than Joe Biden. However, they are what's known as neoconservatives. Unfortunately for them, the vast majority of Republican voters are rejecting the neoconservatives. Also, I want candidates who are America first candidates and are able to resist very, very strongly against the elitist ruling class politicians in the different levels of America's government.

Same here, I want candidates that reject the elitists also. Maybe, just to heal 2024 and end the woke stuff, we can have a neoconservative again just for four years, as Bush (2001-2008) was a neoconservative, and our country was not woke back then.

But yes, Cheney and Romney would be 100x better than Biden at this point. For 2024, we must prioritize Israel and end this Hamas nonsense, so we can end this war.

I found a list of Pro-Israel (Anti-Hamas) candidates, and some are Republican, and some are Democrats:

I'm not a Democrat. I just find Trump unsuitable on multiple levels. Honestly I wish both parties could ditch their front runner and we could get reasonable candidates.

I do agree there.

Have you heard of the ex-Trumpers, who are Republicans who want change in the Republican party?:

Heck, there is a list of Republicans against Trump here, brother. If you can, vote for one of these guys:

Cheney isn't running for anything this year. Neither is Romney (whom you mentioned earlier.)

I might want to write one of them in though. Why can't the good guys (or gal) run? It is getting late here though, so I do hope you have a wonderful night, brother. Hopefully Liz runs for real in 2028, if Putin or Kim has not nuked us by then. ;)
