There's no mention of what Ashley Biden's age was at the time these showers took place. Was she 2, 3, 4, 5..? A lot of parents shower with their young children. Also, showers aren’t sexual. I think some people are reading way too much into this.

For many of those kids at the pool, it may have been the first time they were able to see a white guy up close and personal, so naturally they would have been courious and would touch the hair on a white lifeguards legs.

It's a natural curiosity, and kids will want to touch your skin and hair wherever it's exposed. It's happened to me many times. This was the type of experience President Biden was describing in his speech, and Biden, being a lifeguard, would have been sitting in a lifeguard stand, so his legs would have been in easy reach of the kids at the pool.

This is one of the reasons I'm uncomfortable with touchy feely types around my children. I believe in bodily autonomy and physical displays of affection shouldn't be right. Just because they're a child doesn't give you the right to touch them and they lack the mental maturity to say no at a young age. I had boundaries with my loved ones and strangers and teachers too. Parents frequently assume adults have good intentions and don't look askance at authority figures.

There was a cringy video circulating on Twitter recently with a father and daughter. He was stroking her bottom and caressing her in his arms while she sat in his lap. She was pretty big and probably closer to 10. A question accompanied the post wondering if it was innocent or more. A male acquaintance responded and deemed the scene sensual and I agreed. Many respondents said the same.

I find Biden's and Trump's behavior equally disturbing.
