Dems want a ‘democracy’ where the majority lords it over everyone else.

The only victim complex I see is with Trump supporters.

In other words, the electoral college is better because that's the way it's always been.
Our country was built on that in order to combat the tyranny of the majority.

I don’t need to read your mind to understand the vibe of your post.

Of course, because it supports the masses, who flood our crime ridden cities.

As said above, the mega cities shouldn’t dominate over the majority of the country.
Aren’t the largest cities in each state currently dominating how the electoral college votes are allocated? With few exceptions the majority vote in each state receives all the state’s electoral votes.

If 50+% of the people vote for the same candidate -- THAT **IS** THE MAJORITY OF THE COUNTRY.

Why should I care how much land is occupied by Trump voters?
It’s what I said earlier. Mega cities infested with crime shouldn’t be ruling over other areas.

Ever heard of "one man-one vote"?

Do you know that's how it works *within* states when picking the EC votes?

Hey, it’s that map with all the population centers in blue again.
And that’s why we have the electoral college system.

The blue places are where most crime is, because the people who commit the most crime vote blue more often, and who wants them running our country?

Red places represent most areas of the USA, and have lower crime rates.

Soeaking as the mind in question myself, ya didn't.

Out of curiosity, what crime ridden city do you live in?

As said above, the mega cities shouldn’t dominate over the majority of the country.
Why not? Why shouldn't each person's vote count the same as everyone else's? Why should the votes of city folks count less?

-- A2SG, are they not as equal as other folk?

Because population centers have higher crime rates then rural areas the people should have their votes devalued?

I think you have missed something about how the majority in each state chooses who the EC. Ores go to and the majority live in the cities.

Nebraska and Maine can split their EC votes, per state law, if I recall correctly.

Do population centers actually have higher crime “rates”?
