CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Send those on student visas back to their own countries, if they claim those countries are so much better than let them go to their own excellent schools. There has been some pullback, they want to get away with as much as they can without suffering any consequencs. Just like teenagers throwing rocks at Israelis. Here's an example:

The anger and fear towards the stranger is to be expected. The plan is to find a scapegoat and cast all of the troubles onto that scapegoat, then expel the scapegoat. I posted the words of Jesus, I did not interpret his words. The words speak for themselves. Treat the stranger as if you would treat God. It is a positive message, not one of hatred and fear.

"The stranger" is singular. "The stranger" in the words of the Lord Jesus Christ is not talking about millions of illegal immigrants who broke the laws of our country. Jesus was not affirming that we ought to be perfectly okay with the massive amounts of human trafficking which has been happening across our nation's borders.

We would treat our God the way we treat the ONE stranger Jesus spoke of....and nobody else. Good stuff. I wish that stranger was still alive so I could treat him with kindness and mercy. Tough luck for the other strangers.

I heard they were gonna take in migrants from Gaza. Which is a terrible idea, considering their religion is Islam and they already blame the West for what's happening to them in Gaza right now under Netanyahu.

"Mass deportation" is not defined. It's apparently left to the respondent to interpret what a mass deportation is. 2 million? 5 million? 10 million? 40 million?
Also, the Biden Administration has been deporting illegal immigrants at roughly the same rate as the Trump administration.

This has to do with what worldview someone has, not how they view the Divinity of Christ.
I'll tell you right now my world view has far more in common with the typical Jew than with the typical Gazan
The typical Gazan thinks I don't have the right to live and they believe it their duty before God to kill me.
The typical Jew doesn't actually think this, so I'd much rather have them for neighbors. You know, If there's a choice I'll go for the people who want to live like me, who value life and freedom.

How is that possible when the Biden admin has allowed approximately 8 million illegals to enter and remain in the U.S. since he took office?
That misses the point. When an act of crime is committed by an illegal alien it is that much more outrageous since it never would have happened had said alien not entered the country in the first place. You are defending crime (even) violent crime.
