It's too late for the victims, the women who have been raped, the people who have been killed, and all of those enslaved. We wanted due process for them.
No, what you want is called "justice", for the guilty to be punished. Due process is the right to defend yourself in court before punishment.

And that's the problem, lack of due process by officials for deportees.
We are not going to have lengthy court trials for 20 million illegals.
We are going to have hearings, as is the standard in deportations.

Indeed. We have many historic examples of peoples passions overriding their good sense. I suspect this one will end up no different and will serve as another object lesson that will be ignored in 70 years time.
