The word "saved" in the Bible is polysemantic. Judas was temporarily saved in the sense that he was a chosen disciple of Jesus. However, Judas never had eternal life in him, John 6:

Judas was a devil even when he was a disciple with Jesus, John 17:

NIV, Matthew 26:

Jesus knew Judas would never repent.

They found a replacement for Judas, Acts 1:

Judas did not belong to heaven.

Was Judas Iscariot saved?

No, not for eternal life.
Food for Thought

Exodus 21:32 If the ox gores a slave, male or female, the owner shall give to their master thirty shekels of silver, and the ox shall be stoned.

Zechariah 11:4 This is what the Lord my God says: “Shepherd the flock marked for slaughter. 5 Their buyers slaughter them and go unpunished. Those who sell them say, ‘Praise the Lord, I am rich!’ Their own shepherds do not spare them. 6 For I will no longer have pity on the people of the land,” declares the Lord. “I will give everyone into the hands of their neighbors and their king. They will devastate the land, and I will not rescue anyone from their hands.”

7 So I shepherded the flock marked for slaughter, particularly the oppressed of the flock. Then I took two staffs and called one Favor and the other Union, and I shepherded the flock. 8 In one month I got rid of the three shepherds.

The flock detested me, and I grew weary of them 9 and said, “I will not be your shepherd. Let the dying die, and the perishing perish. Let those who are left eat one another’s flesh.”

10 Then I took my staff called Favor and broke it, revoking the covenant I had made with all the nations. 11 It was revoked on that day, and so the oppressed of the flock who were watching me knew it was the word of the Lord.

12 I told them, “If you think it best, give me my pay; but if not, keep it.” So they paid me thirty pieces of silver.

13 And the Lord said to me, “Throw it to the potter”—the handsome price at which they valued me! So I took the thirty pieces of silver and threw them to the potter at the house of the Lord.

14 Then I broke my second staff called Union, breaking the family bond between Judah and Israel.

Matthew 26:15 and asked, “What are you willing to give me if I deliver him over to you?” So they counted out for him thirty pieces of silver.

Now, here is the million dollar question; Why was Judas equated with an "Ox" by this very passage?

Do we ask to be born? We live life in this fallen world and then when we are done it would have been better not to have been born? We are told that everyone has to make all of their own choices in life.
He made his choices

Tony, I will speak plainly. Jesus prays a prayer to His Father that reveals this matter. The question is, how do we process this? Judas is a very real embodiment of a Satanic figure. He is "almost" genuine. Yet, he clearly stole from the change purse, per scripture. That doesn't make him Satanic, unless one believes that the Human soul is the very GOLD OF GOD. What does? He only reveals it in three exact spots. The first is when he gets angry at the woman who had been a prostitute that prepared the Lamb to be sacrificed. He claims that he's angry because the incomprehensibly expensive fragrance could have been used to feed those in need and such. The only other times are when Jesus specifies that He will dip the "bread" and hand it to Judas and then when Judas "kisses" Jesus.

Judas had been carefully tended by Satan in a manner that is beyond natural. To be more specific, Judas was directly possesed by the one and only Demon of demons.

If the ox gores a slave, male or female, the owner shall give to their master thirty shekels of silver, and the ox shall be stoned.

We have to break this up into who is who.

Who OWNS the Ox? Satan
Who is the Ox? Judas
Who is the Slave? Jesus (Jesus was not "Subordinated", but instead Willingly CONSTRAINED BY LOVE)
Who is the Master of the Slave who was gored? God
Who "stoned" the Ox? This is the tricky one. It is a deep theological matter. Was it JUDAS? Was it Satan?

A strong exegesis could be built on evaluation of both perspectives.

I'll drop one more biblical point of this matter. Judas is the picture of TRUE apostasy. Better it is to have never known the Blessed Way, than to have KNOWN Him and TURNED Away.

Judas made his choice the wrong choice, he betrayed the son of GOD knowing very well who Jesus was.

will you also claim that satan will be saved?
We would first need to define who or what Satan is. That would take awhile, a very long while.

So here is my exceedingly condensed thinking on the subject, without details:

I believe Satan to be the ordained adversary and accuser of the soul (Job chapters 1-2), who is providentially used by God for testing His creation through which His creation was subjected to vanity, in Hope (ie: Christ), (Rom 8:20-8:21).

I believe Satan as represented in scripture is a metaphor for the mind of the flesh that wars and lusts against the mind of the spirit (Rom 8:6-8:8, Gal 5:17). The mind of the spirit being the very breath of God that gives life to all (Gen 2:7).

So, no, I don't make the claim that Satan will be saved. I believe in the final and total destruction of the flesh to the saving of the spirit. And, I believe this to be not only for the elect in this age who know they've been crucified with Christ, but for all of humanity in the resurrection, in the age of judgment to come.
