I would rather see him justifiably relegated to the dustbin of history as soon as possible--no streets, highways, schools, government buildings, etc. named after him, and certainly no money.

We could, perhaps, honor Lincoln by putting him on a $500 bill and moving Trump's likeness to a penny, more realistic in terms of Lincoln's and Trump's contributions (or lack thereof) to history.

It's like they're trying to outdo each other in the Sycophancy Olympics.

I'd be okay with putting Trump on a $34 bill.

Gosar Introduces Legislation Creating $500 Trump Bill

Washington, D.C. -- Congressman Paul A. Gosar, D.D.S. (AZ-09), issued the following statement after introducing H.R. 8620, the Treasury Reserve Unveiling Memorable Portrait (TRUMP) Act, legislation requiring the Secretary of the United States Treasury to print $500 Federal Reserve notes featuring a portrait of the 45th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump:
I'd want them to do this only to see how they do the hair.

That would be the security strip - one wavy gold colored strip, placed right where his combover would go. You could only see it when you hold the bill up to the light which, coincidentally, would also make his skin appear more orange.

I can see youre all hot for this.

But I'd like to be the voice of caution and say how about we hold off for just bit until we see the verdict of history. He might turn out not to be considered as great as all that.

We do need a 500 dollar bill (a thousand too) since it might take one to buy a tank of gas. As to the penny it is a waste of money to even coin. I good law would make pennies owed at checkout go straight to Social Security.

Reminds me of the last time we had 500.00 bills. Very similar- high inflation, trouble in the Middle East, economy sucking people dry, high gas prices. It was when the other worst President was in office. Jimmy Carter.

Except this version of Jimmy is worse - at least Carter had morals.

The last $500 bills were series 1934 and were used by banks for a system that no longer exists.

Also portraits on US coins and bills have always been done in memoriam. That's why the dime went from Mercury (really Liberty wearing a winged cap) to FDR in 1946 after he died. And the half dollar went from Benjamin Franklin to JFK in 1964 after he died. No living person's portrait has ever been put on US currency.

Really if they were going to do it, which they won't, it should be a $1000 bill. Why you ask? Because the last $1000 bill had Gover Cleveland on it. And Cleveland is the only president in US history who won, lost, and won again making him the 22nd and 24th president of the US.

I'm a coin and paper money geek needless to say.

Trump won’t settle for anything less than a Bazillion dollar bill. It’s the biggliest.
Actually the largest denomination of US currency is the 1934 series $100,000 bill which has a portrait of Woodrow Wilson.
