Alien life on other planets

Initially, some Israelites thought that the LORD was only the God of the Hebrews. By the time of the exile, the prophets made it clear that the LORD ruled all peoples and all things.

The Bible does not assert the existence of intelligent aliens in one way or another. Neither does it exclude its possibility. Mark 16:

15 He said to them, “Go into all the world [G2889]and preach the gospel to all creation.

My paraphrase:

Go into all the universe and
preach the gospel to all creation

If there are moral agents on another planet, this will be the updated interpretation of the Great Commission.

As far as the gospel is concerned, aliens on another planet are no different from indigenous people in ancient Australia or China.

This is in the style of God's method of progressive revelation.

First you need to prove from The Bible that God created planets. The creation account in Genesis is heaven, earth (land/ground) sun, moon and stars. I do not list water as it is not actually listed of as being created but it just mentioned as being in existence. That can not be said of planets as there is no mention of them being created or even existing.

If I ever get to it, I might write a short sci-fi story, where faster-than-light capable aliens discover the Gospel (transmitted from Earth in the 2030s to a fictional star system around 507 light years away), and visit a barren wasteland of Earth in the 26th century, to find out that no one on Earth is following God, and then the benevolent aliens have to try and spread the Gospel back to the remaining population on Earth.

If there are other places to go why does satan stay and focus on earth. Surely a being that wants to take the place of God, would not limit his attempt to just earth if there were other places God has created and is God over.

Hmm, this is a tough one. If Satan is only on Earth, does that mean that a person born on a Mars base in the future would be sinless? I think not, as we were born into sin.

I put my faith in God, and the Bible. This verse is from the Bible.

Psalm 111:2 (ESV): Great are the works of the Lord, studied by all who delight in them.

Psalm 111:2 expresses wonder at God's great works or deeds, which are studied by all who delight in them. Scientists engage with these works through their research and discovery. Faith and science complement each other, as both acknowledge God's presence and power in the natural world. Scientific inquiry is driven by a belief in a deeper meaning to the universe and a recognition of God's involvement. The verse affirms that studying God's works deepens our appreciation for and connection to the LORD.

I would love to see sci-fi (speculative fiction) stories that include religious elements. I feel that the heart of good Sci-fi is not the shoot-em-up's, but rather a consideration of what the universe is all about. There is no reason that a good story could not contain ideas of God operating in a vast universe.

After all, Revelation says "and there was war in heaven." So that was the original Star Wars.

I feel that the heart of good Sci-fi is not the shoot-em-up's, but rather a consideration of what the universe is all about. There is no reason that a good story could not contain ideas of God operating in a vast universe.

After all, Revelation says "and there was war in heaven." So that was the original Star Wars.
