Pretty much. At festival time trans women stage their own beauty pageant, the usual thing of ball gowns, bathing suits and talent shows. You take a look at those contestants and before long what their genitals are somehow doesn't seem so important. Best drag show I ever saw.

Spoken like man. Thanks for sharing that you don't care what women want. And yes you do believe that. Rhats why you don't care.

I know what you believe. You've been sharing it every trans thread.
I have never expressed the opinion, in this forum or anywhere else, that trans women are actually biological women. I have never expressed that opinion because I do not hold it.
Yes I do know what he was doing. I'm the one who saw him remember? I saw another one in the airport when I was flying back from San Antonio. A man dressed in women's clothes, make up.the whole bit. I saw them in Portland. My sin picked them.out pretty quickly and he'd never seen one before. And I never had to say a thing.
And just by seeing them, you knew at once by some magic ESP what it was they wanted you to believe.
But you take your new.religion on faith. That they are a woman and should be treated as such.
That they are whatever they are and want to be treated as women and I see no reason not to.

How long did you live in Samoa? How many of fa'afafine did you meet and talk to?
How many did you? Look they are no different than the trans people here. They aren't different because they are Samoan. A word doesn't suddenly make them different. We use the word transgender which covers both sexes.

The French call it transgenre.
Swahili- mwenye mwili na ubongo wa jinsia tofauti

See I can use foreign language too to say other places recognize there are people who belive they are transgendered.

NONE of that proves they are actually the opposite sex. It just proves ther are people who ckaim to be and live that way. It's still a faith system because there is no way to prove it. We just have to trust that what you say is true.
We were never there in that imaginary situation of yours.
Yes we did. If we saw a trans person we just recognized it a not normal and moved on. We were not forced to use pronouns, we were forced to allow them them in women's spaces. We weren't forced to pay for thier medicalization. They could live how they wanted. We didn't force them to do anything and they didn't force us. Were some people mean to them? Yes. Some people are mean to them now. But generally we just didn't bother each other.
They don't have to think, they ask the person.
You have think they might be a man before you ask them. Otherwise you wouldn't bother asking.

I'm sure it was. Filled with men pretending to be women. Many of them men with autogynaphelia. It's so sad to see people in such a terrible state. But I'm glad you had a good time.

Yes you do. Thats why you support them going into women's spaces. Otherwise you wouldn't. You also wouldn't support Affirmative Care which works to medixaluze them into women.

Yup, it's not difficult. W
Especially when they are wearing a dress and heels.
That they are whatever they are and want to be treated as women and I see no reason not to.
Yes because you take it on faith that they are women inside. They feel therefore they are. It's the a faith based belief.

Yeah, they were having a good time too. It's a shame you weren't there to explain to them how miserable they really were.

Do I support them going into "women's spaces?" Or do I just not care, seeing that it is not my job to prevent them, or even have an opinion about what "women's spaces" actually are. I also don't care (speaking of adults only) whether they have transformative surgery or not. It's none of my business.

I'm sure they were getting thier sexual jollies and fantasies met and loved having an audience while they did it.

It's obvious you support them, or you wouldn't have spent umpteenth posts doing so.

It's also obvious you think they are women otherwise you wouldn't have spent umpteenth pages supporting them being treated as women.

You made the claim I believe that you had to have dysphoria diagnosis before being treated and having insurance pay for medicalization. We have said you don't. You just have to claim you are trans and have a doctor for along with it to medicalize. And I proved we were right. You do NOT have have a dysphoria diagnosis.

The trans believers make two claims.
1. Some transgender have dysphoria
2. Some do not.

Both can receive medicalization to alter thier bodies through Affirming Care and have insurance pay for it. You claimed you had to have dysphoria. You don't. I proved it to you. There are some insurance companies who do require it. Some do not. And as I proved government run programs do not and cannot require it. If a person claims they are trans all a doctor has to say is they are receiving Affirmative Care and the government has to pay. They do NOT have to have dysphoria like you claimed. You should give up.

Affirmative Care needs to be banned for children. It's a failed therapy model that has not been proven to be effective in kids and in fact transitions kids who are NOT actually trans. Let me say that again. Affirmative Care transitions kids who are NOT trans.

That's one reason it was banned in Europe. We must do that here. It should cause you to be mortified to here that kids are being medicalized when they aren't trans. Horrified enough to want to stop it.
What I really emphasized was that you must have a diagnosis and treatment plan. People who are already living as a transgendered person cannot be discriminated against. People who have not transitioned yet are typically diagnosed with gender dysphoria. There is no way insurance will pay for treatment of a condition that is not medical.

You probably should just keep your personal opinion to yourself if neither you nor your children are being treated for this disorder. Let the people who personally deal with this decide what treatment is best for them. Like you said it may or may not be covered by your insurance depending on what insurance you have. Most often people start out confused about their gender identity. That is most often diagnosed as dysphoria. Someone already living as the gender they feel they were meant to be are transsexual and I never disagreed with the fact that doctors are not allowed to discriminate against them. As I said in the beginning of this statement, there can be no treatment by a doctor unless they can diagnose and treat you. There is no need fr treatment if there is no disorder. Treatment takes many forms. Sometimes it IS hormones or even surgery under the right conditions. It is also treated with talk therapy and other means. What you both are trying to prove is that every case is the same and is treated as the same when that is not the case at all. Everyone gets their own diagnosis and choice of treatment.

I think you are confused about what Affirmative care actually is. It entails believing someone when they say that they feel they are the wrong gender. What is your alternative to treating someone for the symptoms they have? One popular alternative is flat denial of their feelings and another is Conversion Therapy which seeks to shame someone into convincing themselves they don't have the desires that they do actually have. Do you think it is better to deny or shame kids into temporarily changing their minds to please their conservative family members or should they examine their actual feelings and treat them accordingly? There is a reason why conversion therapy is most often not covered by insurance. 1) it doesn't;t work. and 2) it can make the mental health of the "patient" much worse.

I don't have to believe that they are what they think in order to support them against what appears to be prejudice
It's also obvious you think they are women otherwise you wouldn't have spent umpteenth pages supporting them being treated as women.
Most of my time here has been asking questions trying to find out what the prejudice is based on. I don't even have to support them to ask those questions because it has become a controversial public policy issue.

You seem to passionately care. Enough to try and find facts to support your position when they don't exist.

Example?

They don't if they want to pay cash

We aren't going to continue to argue this....you've even had other posters point out the truth to you.

Deny if you want.

What I KNOW it is, is believing someone when they say they were born the wrong gender and it specifically forbids things like denial of their feelings and Conversion Therapy.

This is what you've been indoctrinated to say.

Psychology and psychiatry is the discipline of helping people with mental disorders.

When someone is depressed....we try to help them not feel depressed.

When someone is anxious we try to help them not feel anxious.

When someone us experiencing psychotic delusions....we give them antipsychotics to help mediate the hallucinations.

When someone is anorexic, and believes they are fat while starving to death....we try desperately to get them to understand reality....before it's too late.

When a man says he "feels like he a woman inside"....we seem to split into a couple of camps...

1. There's something wrong with the person, possibly a mental illness, and this person is suffering from a problem that can't be resolved....he isn't a woman.

2. There's nothing wrong with this person....apart from perhaps the body they were born in. With enough drugs and surgery, and everyone lying to them constantly about the reality of their situation, they'll be happy and the problem will resolve.

I'm in camp #1. I'm not entirely sure which camp you're in.

.
I think you were the one who claimed that and I never did. I said boys can't transition to girls under medical care without a treatment plan.

Boys can't transition to girls....period. These are biological realities that we cannot change.

I just deleted the rest of your post since it's all baseless assertions.

Banning Affirmative Care

What a deceptive title. They are banning the mutilation and perversion of children.
Do you know how many people under 18 have had genital reconstructive surgery?

Lol, no one has said that. First we are blasted.for calling it a disorder now we are being blasted for not calling it a disorder. So which is it?
It was considered a disorder until 2013. Now it’s “gender dysphoria.” But apparently, not all trans people have gender dysphoria do make it even more confusing.

It’s a fetish or mental disorder. Nothing to be celebrated or proud of. It’s embarrassing we even have to have this discussion in modern society, in my opinion.

You said something like all people who claim to be transgender get hormones.
Deny if you want.
You mean deny that every case is different and handled by diagnosis and treatment by a doctor which may or may not be covered based on their insurance plan wich varies from state to state?

That is probably where you are the most confused. There is more than two way to treat transgender tendancies. I see you prefer the deny the problem and use conversion therapy to convince them that they don't feel what they feel. I choose a treatment plan designed by an individual doctor with the consent of an individual patient. Also during the process of diagnosis, the doctor should treat the patient as if they're feelings are valid instead of convincing them their feelings are a delusion that they need to be treated for. I'm sure you are aware that the year is 2024 and they know more about this phenomenon than they did in 1955.

You are also confused about the fact that a doctor creates a treatment plan individual to that patient so for some it might be hormones, for some it might even be surgery, and for many it's learning how to cope with their feelings without a physical intervention.

Black and white also went out in the 50's In modern times you don't go to the doctor and get one treatment or the other. There are at least as many treatment options a there are colors in the rainbow.

Let us know when you are ready to move into the 21st century.

One more thing, not being transgender, a doctor, or a psychologist, what are the credentials you are relying on in your recommendation of treatment to the entire transgender community?

They treat people with anxiety, depression, pzysophrenia, etc to reduce their symptoms. Transgender care is a whole different treatment plan because people who believe they were born the wrong gender don't always want their "symptoms" reduced, They want to be the person they believe they are. This is where the whole individual treatment with an individual treatment plan comes into play. Some might just want their desire to be another gender reduced. Through treatment, some might realize they don't want to be a different gender but they want to dress like a different gender. By denying that their feelings are valid, you really don't have an honest way to make a treatment plan.

I’m sure he’s aware it’s 2024 and the 21st century.

Quite frankly, who cares what year it is? People always had mental disorders and fetishes. It’s nothing new.

Trans people screaming and demanding others accept their choices because “it’s 2024” makes no sense.
