I do not feel Trump could have gotten a fair trial because he is so poarizing that finding 12 people that can truely have no bias I just feel could not happen.
What should be done about someone who is charged with a crime when a fair trial is impossible because everyone hates him so much?

Should he be allowed to do crimes with impunity?

Or where they confer their blind loyalty upon him.

We all know "convicted felon" is going to be said as much as possible. It's the latest great blue hope.
Oh, yes!

What's not to like?

Here is another: 'rigged trial'. The convicted felon has already repeated this empty phrase; outside the court after the Guilty verdict and again in Convicted Felon Tower. As sure as night follows day his coterie will repeat it. It is the latest red hope.

Rigged hearings and trials have been an on gong saga for years. This is just more of the same for the red side.

That is quite a claim. Can it be substantiated with actual examples?

I agree with everything here (#42). In a sane Republican Party these sentiments would be powerful enough to unseat him as candidate for office.

However, I think Republicans - Christian or not - knew enough about the man's character to have ditched him many years ago.

There is still time to restore sanity to the Republican Party. Another candidate could be found, somebody untainted by by fealty to a convicted felon.

Well, it might be difficult to find an untainted candidate for the office in the Republican Party. Almost anybody would be a better choice, in my view.

I see you're avoiding backing up your claims. I'd add more gaslighting but I'm new to dishing out this routine.

It might be fun to have a convicted felon in the presidency. If to do nothing bit drive the left insane.
That would certainly be on brand for the right. That's what right-wing "governing" is all about it seems. That and punishing the "others."

Oh no, a political party is using documented facts to promote their candidate over the other one. How ever will the Republic survive?
