The Lord Jesus Christ was an example of a Man living perfectly aligned with the Father's will.

Just because the rest of humanity falls short - that does not mean that there are not inappropriate ways to express.

Unless that is what you are arguing. Are you arguing that all forms of love are always appropriate?
But is your argument that two married atheists couldn't possibly love each other?

I don't have any sympathy for those who think their "human rights" include trampling on the human rights of others.
The Human Rights group should perhaps change their name to the Bullying Busybodies. Much more accurate.

If you want to hear it from HRC itself rather than the 'Washington Stand'.
View attachment 348710

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), the nation’s largest LGBTQ+ advocacy group, is launching its 2024 public education and engagement campaign “We Show Up: Equality Wins'' to reach a record-high 75 million identified Equality Voters nationwide.

Importantly, it's clear that they are targeting voters they have already identified as allies of their movement. This is a 'get out the vote' effort.

The American Patriarchy Association probably won't be sending me mailers, so anybody upset about queer people likely won't be targetted by the HRC efforts.
“The Washington Stand” is the media arm of the Family Research Council.

This conversation would be better suited if we were to switch from our native English to the usual Greek delineations of “love” (eros, philia, agape)…but this would place us in danger of breaking the forum rules, which I would rather respect, since I am but a guest here.

I find it disturbing that a "human rights" organization campaign on behalf of a political party. But HRC is a misnomer. It is not a human rights organization at all. It's actually an LGBT agenda organization. An organization that has a primary focus on a subset of a whole is not impartial any any standard.

It's like me making an organization and name it "human right guardian" but my primary focus is on men's rights which is a subset of human rights. But you know for sure that I will only fight for human rights as long as men's right are involved. When there is nothing against men's rights then and only then we extend some tacit support for other groups.
Yes, it turns out that when people of a common set of interests get together to affect changes that they would like to see happen in their society, that they tend to name their group themselves.
I see that this might be news to some, but it’s alright, if the group’s agenda isn’t to one’s liking, no matter what they’ve chosen to name their organization will not matter one whit.

Like words have meaning isn't that strange? Wrongly naming something might give people the wrong impression.

I must now drive my dolphin to work. You know dolphin a vehicle which has 4 doors and 4 wheels with a combustion engine. Newer breed of dolphins uses electricity instead of petrol. You can buy one at your nearest dealership.

I like to watch car videos on youtube. You know mammals that live in the ocean that has a blowhole at the top of it. In captivity they do tricks for humans. Some question the ethics of keeping wild cars in aquariums.

Honestly what I really hope is they don't go out trying to scare the youth again.

There were so many lies going around about Trump and the LGBT agenda that my husband back in 2016 had one of his employees in tears thinking he was going to be put in jail for being gay if Trump won the election. My sister in law had a similar encounter with one of her coworkers.

It's ridiculous the lies and levels of fear mongering these "special interest" groups and their supporters will stoop to in order to garner a few extra votes.
It appears Trump is rather pro-gay. He’s not exactly enemy number 1.

How about use the money to feed people instead? Like homeless gay youth?
Does that include money spent to runs groups like the HRC quoted in the OP? Or does this argument only get trotted out when the wrong kind of people spend money to promote their political goals?

Right, like imagine what Christian nationalist activists could do with the money they spend on propaganda pretending to be a newspaper?

It depends. The money could go elsewhere, and this included both the left and right.

Maybe I’m overthinking it.
