No, most of the Law, i.e. not the Ten Commandments.
What about this?

But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
— Matthew 5:28

That is part of the Law that apply to all people, the sixth commandment.

“You shall not commit adultery.

How did the by know it was a sin to lust? That’s not written in the law.

I doubt they fully knew until Jesus laid out the true meaning of the commandments.
Since you don’t think that Jesus giving commands is law, I’m not sure that there is anything else to discuss.

The command Jesus gave in Matt 5:28 is not a new commandment and of course it's Law. It's like I said the commandment:

“You shall not commit adultery.
Exodus 20:14

Jesus telling the blind man to wash his eyes in the pool of Siloam is not Law, but it's a command. (John 9)

I think Jesus only gave one new law.

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
— John 13:34

Can you show from Scripture Jesus gave other new commandments or new commands of Law?

Funny how each time in The Bible i always see, The Bible stating, believe and then born again.

For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.”

What i never see is Abraham was accounted righteousness, then he believed God.

The thread isn’t about justification.

Ok, do you think it's a new law Jesus establishes or is it a command found in the OT law ... or something else?
There’s no difference whether given in the OT or the NT. When Jesus gave the Ten Commandments to Moses, it’s the same as when He gave commands to His disciples, and to us by extension. And read the prophets. Many commands to repent.

So it's both a new law and an OT law? I don't get that.

You keep trying to make a distinction. When the King says to do something, it’s law.
I think you avoid to deal with the logical problem here. Either it's part of the OT Law or a new law established by Jesus. I don't see how it can be both. I think you need to make a distinction.

Okay, Mark 1:15 is OT law. Why? It was given during the old covenant.

Ok, so Jesus came with new laws to the OC?

If it was a law given to the NC during the OC, it's not a OT Law.

Why not just say you don't know if the command in Mark 1:15 is a law or not?

Yes. Ok, so you think Jesus institituted new OC laws?
Not really. There are many commands to repent in the OT.
I get what you are saying.
Do you? ^_^
Ok, then I don't think I need to ask more about it, but out of curiosity of course.

You have understood why I think you misinterpret Rom 8:5-8 then? Just want to be clear about it.
Yes, because your theology allows for God-haters to somehow want to please God. ;)
