No, it isn't.
The Bible is not a science textbook.
The Bible is everything, it is the past, the future & the present.

No, it isn't.
The Bible is not a science textbook.
Obviously not.The Bible is everything, it is the past, the future & the present.
Obviously not.
It doesn't mention cars, planes, computers, tvs, YouTube or Facebook. It doesn't address many of the issues that we face today; nuclear wars, IVF, organ transplants etc etc.
It reveals God, is about God and by God.
Humans are made in God's image - meaning that we have the ability to create, love, discover, show kindness and so on, just as God does. God has given us the ability to discover more about his world. The Bible does not give the answers to these questions; it has all we need to know God, have salvation and eternal life, know God's will etc etc.
You miss my point.Okay, maybe not the present as the present is a gift to be opened, but the past & the future it certainly does.
You miss my point.
If the Bible told us everything about the future, it would have spoken about these things. There are many issues today on which we need guidance, and the Bible doesn't teach them - because that's not its purpose and those things didn't exist anyway.
I didn't say that the Bible doesn't teach us about the future at all, I said that it doesn't address things like future technology, or other things which didn't exist back then.It does, it teaches us about Revelation for one.
I didn't say that the Bible doesn't teach us about the future at all, I said that it doesn't address things like future technology, or other things which didn't exist back then.
No one said "in a few centuries time you will have the technology to make a test tube baby - don't."
Paul did not say "there should be order in church, and by that I mean that you should always turn your mobile phones off."
Neither does it say, "well the earth is this shape, we think, but we don't know enough about it. In a few centuries time people will have discovered things that can tell us a bit more."
There are plenty of cases where one can say "Look, this is new".Ecclesiastes 1:9
All things are wearisome, more than one can describe; the eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear content with hearing. What has been will be again, and what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun. Is there a case where one can say, “Look, this is new”? It has already existed in the ages before us.
Luke 8:17There are plenty of cases where one can say "Look, this is new".
Technology, advances in medicine and science, X rays, scans etc. New archaeological discoveries have been made, regarding places mention in the Bible. There have been new translations made, due to new discoveries.
And if it WAS proved to be flat after all, it would make absolutely no difference to anyone.Luke 8:17
For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open.
And this includes the shape of the earth also.
And if it WAS proved to be flat after all, it would make absolutely no difference to anyone.
Most would just go on with their livesWrong, it would make a great difference to whole world & to everyone who is alive.
Astrologists? People who claim to know things about you based on your star sign? I don't see how they would be affected at all.Teachers- Schools/ Universities etc
Scientist's - Science books/ Physics
All who work for NASA & the likes of
Astrologist's
Says a lot about you how you group things.NASA's budget
Deceivers/leaders/liars
I guess we will have to get rid of all those maps we've been using to accurately navigate the globeHistorians
Cartographer's etc, etc, etc.
Highly unlikely. The shape of the earth plays almost no role in people's decision to follow ChristAs for the masses most would begin to take the Bible literally & come to the Lord by the droves & billions and billions would become saved by the grace of our Lord 'Jesus Christ'.
Yes, you suffer from delusions. You can see now, as to why I am a flat earther.
Most would just go on with their lives
Just a follow-up on your claim that flat earth belief leads to Christ.Except for teachers, cartographers, scientists, astro-nots, oh and lets not forget all the people who work for these space agencies such as NASA.
Just a follow-up on your claim that flat earth belief leads to Christ.

You've posted one of his sermons before which turned out to be completely wrong.
None of the people I listed above are Christians, but they are all avid flat earth believers. Not to mention the masses who have been saved by believing the earth is flat.
What a load of hooey. What do the inner circle of Adventists, mormons and catholics share?
Lets face it. If you believe in our current universe and space model, traditional christianity needs to be signifcantly readjusted to survive the "space age".
While the picture of the Heavens among many christians has never quite been properly defined and remaineth abstract in the minds of many,
Other habitable planets, and solar systems, unfallen worlds and paradises, all filled with countless intelligent beings acrossed vast galaxies
. Earth is merely a rebellious planet, in need of redemption. This is the grandeur deception finale.

Considering the validity of Valiant Thor, a space alien from Venus who claims Christ, a Gnostic invention, or someone else? - Gospel Vision
Frank Stranges tells us about the mysterious figure, Valiant Thor, his origins, his biology, and that he bears the name of Christ. Is there any weight to what Stranges is saying?gospel.vision
They will say, the world is not "ready" for such a revelation, that we "are not alone".
But when the aliens come, who, infact will look remarkebly like humans, all old religions will go away, and the questions people always longed for, answered.
New texts will be presented, that provide the answer to all religious strive, and humanity will go into a "new golden age"
All of this is the final deception.
They will say Jesus Christ exists, but in like manner Buddha, and Krishna.
Notice how in this story this "alien" does NOT testify Jesus as Lord.
He is presented merely as an enlightened "wonder" of ages, in the league of other religious figures.
If you believe in the vast planetary universe model you will have no defense against the deception that is coming. Christianity will completely change and adapt itself to this "new reality" when the "aliens" reveal themselves.
People have slowly been indoctrinated for centuries to accept this sci-fi reality. After WW2 things accelerated.
This is all setting the stage for the finale, the revelation "we are not alone".
This is when we will see the great apostasty.
Mormons, Adventists, Catholics and many other christian sects have all been primed for the final deception.
