Which is first place? Your politics or your religion and can you tell us about examples that illustrate it?
My political position, informed by my religion, is self-explanatory. I have no interest in getting dragged into a political battle by those who have hate for my positions.
I'm stong in my position because I lived through years of hateful propaganda poured out against the politics that I believe in. The media worked together with wealthy heads of corporations, the entertainment industries, and the Democratic Party (as well as Education) to illicitly plant evil ideas about the party previously in power. It worked...for a time. "Russia, Russia, Russia...."
And in the last American election we've seen a massive number of lawsuits designed to rob the Republican nominee once again by underhanded means. All this would be argued by those who hate Trump.
Though I respect the idealism that uses taxes to help the needy, I've found that Big Govt is as corrupt as anything else. I believe people who earn money should be able to spend it as they see fit, and help the poor as they see fit.
A certain amount of Govt. help is fine, but not Govt control of speech, assembly, religion, etc. I don't want masks forced on me, or anybody telling me to stay home during pandemics. I don't trust those who praise Fauci, etc. etc. I despite Anti-Semitism as much as I despise descrimination against African Americans.
Yes, people can turn off the TV/computer/phone if they don't want to hear the speech/opinion/proopaganda. But it affects our society in a very destructive way. And so, I'm adamantly opposed to what the Democrats have become, with the Extreme Left leading them presently.
