I understand the hatred for Trump runs deep and thus never attempt to defend his egotistcal character, offensive statements, or questionable business dealings. But, his specific actions of support for Christianity in America and around the world has surpassed any other president since Ronald Reagan. To this point, his open, political platform has been and remains more compatible with the Christian faith than any of his Democratic opponents have demonstrated.

In the case of this article, I find it very interesting and telling that Trump boldly spoke out to defend America's Christian heritage, while Biden (also invited to speak) declined to even attend.

I agree he is an " angel of light". The deception runs deep. I just hope Christians, who hold this man in such a high regard , will repent before it is too late.

"My Kingdom is not of this world "( Jesus Christ of Nazareth).

There is no kingdom to build here on earth. We build the harvest for
The Kingdom of God in heaven.

For no man can lay another foundation than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.12 Now if any man build upon this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble,13 every man’s work shall be made manifest; for the Day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire, and the fire shall test every man’s work of what sort it is.

Blessings.

About secular authorities, I understand, we have in Romans 13:4 >

"he is God's minister to you for good".

So, I understand that God uses each secular authority person, somehow. God is not limited.

I was told that evangelicals in Germany approved of Adolph. But I know that reports in history and the present media can make things look how someone wants us to see things.

But a characteristic tendency of a narcissist is to associate with people and things and causes which are popular . . . in order that the narcissist can piggy-back on the credibility and fame of those people and things and causes.

And politicians can rig how things look. **And ones a number of us got to know and then married have turned out to be different than how they made things look before we married them!**

So, yes we can fool our own selves, more or less, in evaluating people, not only in voting but in how we evaluate whom we trust for marriage and friendships and medical and other decisions.

We can make sure with God. I trust that our Father does want to share with us in all our activities, personally guiding how we evaluate everything >

"Test all things; hold fast what is good." (1 Thessalonians 5:21)

Only with God who is good, we can test what He knows is "good", at any moment, I consider.

So, in case some number of people are fooling themselves about Donald, they are not the only ones who have fooled themselves about someone.

2 Corinthians
13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

Trump is a false light for christians, a false hope, a cunning snake. Place no hope in politics.
I wonder what that makes any Democrat. Super Satan?

Words count little if ones actions tell the truth. Trump's Christian acts pale in comparison to Biden's or any other President during my lifetime.

There is blatant evil and there is evil hidden behind a false appearance of light. The blatant evil is easily recognized by anyone somewhat discerning but the false light evil requires more discernment and is therefor the more dangerous for the soul.

So what makes Trump more dangerous than the blatant evil of the Democrats or the American Political establishment in general?

Because he masquarades as a messenger of light to christians, but his actions betray him. Such a masquarade draws people away from the only source of true hope, Jesus Christ, to a false hope, and directs it to an idol, in this case a political strongman. You will always end up betrayed. Don't be naive. This world that is set to pass away will continue to do their show and play in politics. True christians have no place there, and shouldn't intermingle in that arena. We are strangers and sojourners here. This world It's all the same and it's not our home. All we must do is pray for our rulers. And pray for our enemies.
Even when they persecute us and kill us. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood
So you're of the opinion Christians should abstain from all power totally then?

The message of Christ is clearly written in His Word. Bibles are everywhere and literacy is higher than ever. The words of Messiah are applicable to all of us, whether born aristocrats or poor orphans, rich or poor. Many are called, but few are chosen, and narrow is The Way.

I will answer your question by asking you this. What did Christ do?
To be a Christian is to be a pupil of the Master. We strive to be as Him.
We fool ourselves if we say we have faith but our works-our life-, doesn't show it.

We know there will be civil magistrates in this passing world to the very end, and it's not our job to get rid of them. Let them do their thing. We are only called to pray for them.
Give to ceasar what belongs to him, and to God what belongs to Him, and go and follow the Master.

(Ironically, if everyone did follow the Master, there would not be a need for civil magistrates, or a civil order of any kind that enforces.)

We know that one day, Babylon will fall, and an everlasting Kingdom set up, where everyone will have Gods law written on the tables of their hearts. Then, there will be true everlasting freedom and peace.
Just so we're clear, you're of the opinion we must let non Christians dominate over us and we cannot resist or defend ourselves against their power? No matter what they do?

The policies of "progressivism" and the far-left which the leaders of the Democratic Party have been pushing are far more dangerous than Donald Trump.

I would have thought that having christians being involved in politics would be a good thing.
Could help bring back religious teachings in the schools , spreading the gospel etc.

Instead of Transgenderism and all the other nonsense they teach to kids now days. Kids today don't know if their Authur or Martha....

We are only allowed to overcome evil with good and not physically rebel against tyrants. Our weapons and armour are spiritual. Christ allowed non Christians to dominate over Him, He did not resist or defended Himself physically against their power, no matter how low they sunk. He overcame death and defeated satan by doing so. We may rejoice if we share in the sufferings of Christ. Through Him we have victory over death. It is more profitable for us to be with Him then in this body. Death has no leverage over us. If.... we have His Spirit. Without His Spirit we are not His. But with His Spirit in us, we pass from death to life the moment this physical body dies.
So it's not so much Trump you have a problem with and the Christians who support him, but any Christian who engages in politics and power period.

I cannot abide by such a vision which surrenders all power to our enemies and allows them to do whatever they want. Thank God the early Christians didn't think the way you do either. When they had power they took it and the world is better off for them having done so.

All leaders have faults ... the current Administration is hostile towards Christians. They want to do away with the constitution and it is that that gives all the right to make individual choices in regard to their beliefs (religious-wise). It is also what protects our country from a state dictated religion .... so also protects those who to not subscribe to any religion being enforced by the state (government)

You are allowed to flee from tyrants and oppression, though, and be disobedient to them if they command you to break the commandments of Elohim.

The reason we have civil magistrates and order is for the unbelievers, not for the believers. Without the civil order to keep the barbarians in check, there would be total chaos.
What is your opinion about the American revolution in 1776?

I can’t stand the guy and his “faults” are deeper than that of the average person. I think he’s absolutely disgusting.

Mr Trump doesn't do God's work. God is love. God's love unites us. Donald Trump uses divisions and hatred for personal benefit. He works for the other one who is opposed to God and love. And people who choose to vote for the man misunderstand their bibles it seems.

Is it Trumps job to do God's work? I thought Americans despise theocracy, as they would call it.

Do the democrats foster unity? They foster a fair bit of hatred in their opposition. If Trump did do God's work, would you hate him even more so?
