Rules can take a hike.I have decided to start reporting posts that are steered towards creationism in this forum as there is one individual in particular who thinks he is above the rules.

If there's anything left of original topic we don't need to let heroes of derailment continue even in absentia.
When Gene Roddenberry created the Star Trek universe back in 1966, he had one commandment in mind: Thou shalt not speak about religion. As a secular humanist, he established that mystical thinking, superstition and faith would not exist in his vision of the future, instead aiming for an atheistic utopia.

Felt good, didn't it?
Subtle humor is not always the best means of communication hereabouts.I was channeling the attitude of some here.
No, you're not.
The earth is groaning, and you can't hear it.
Romans 8:22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
And while prophecy is being fulfilled before our very eyes, people are literally looking in the dust and among the rocks for answers to questions that only God can give.
I'll take what God put in writing beforehand, before I'll take what your scribes are putting in writing today.
@dlamberth's OP is in the correct Forum. He's been caught up in Creationist arguments (as we all have)_which don't belong here.
This is an excerpt from the Statement of Purpose for the Physical & Life Sciences Forum.
The Physical & Life Sciences forum is a discussion and debate area on physics, biology, chemistry and other physical sciences. Other physical sciences may include but is not limited to astronomy, earth science, archaeology, climate change, ecology, geology, oceanography and energy.Physical Sciences address the nature and properties of non-living systems while life sciences address the nature and properties of living matter. This may include the way two or more of these have an effect on each other between observation, theory, deduction and application......Threads started, or responses made, to simply disparage science will be considered off topic to the forum.Creation and Evolution discussions are off topic to this main forum, and should be started in the sub-forum, Creation & Evolution.Basically the Forum is designed as a place to discuss science in a science context. There are at least two other Forums where Creation/Evolution discussions are legit.
Unfortunately, there are posters who insist on repeatedly introducing the same Biblical/Creationist arguments into this Forum, drawing the thread off topic and outside of its purpose.
I am not in the habit of reporting posters for rule infringements, however I am getting a little tired of seeing every science related post turned into the same argument about Creationism.
OB
The Creation and evolution forum is for creation/evolution discussions. In this sub-forum the proper discussion is of scientific aspects of any of the sciences, including biology, anthropology, etc. and such aspects of evolution as is related to them. If you wish to debate any issues raised here, either discuss the scientific aspects only, or start a thread in Creation and Evolution. Thank you.It is the creatures of God's creation which groan, and they groan since the fall, with hope for deliverance with the revealing of salvation which comes to the redeemed, those who are brought to faith with repentance that they are in Christ, that God will answer fulfilling that hope of God's creatures of the creation.
By the same token, evolution should not be discussed in the physical and life sciences forum, where creationists are just as welcome to come and post, about physical science, or life sciences, that can be for things that are observed and can be tested now, for further conclusions, this is still the Christian Forums site that is inclusive for creationists. There is a separate forum for evolution.
Evolution is observed now, and goes on in populations all around us. And we can test Darwin's points. Undergraduates do it frequently. And they are always verified. Perhaps you have confused evolution with something else. What do you think biological evolution is?By the same token, evolution should not be discussed in the physical and life sciences forum, where creationists are just as welcome to come and post, about physical science, or life sciences, that can be for things that are observed and can be tested now,
