Anti-Israel demonstrators marched outside of the White House on Saturday night, with some throwing items at officers and engaging in “destructive behavior," according to D.C. police.

This was not a peaceful protest if property damage has occurred, and objects were being hurled at police. Even White House staff had to be relocated. Regardless, these protestors will get a free pass, and this will still be considered a peaceful protest by the left then swept under the carpet. I would not even expect to see any arrests.

In America today, it doesn't seem to matter what was done. All that really seems to matter is WHO did it. We learned this very quickly during the summer of 2020 and on J6. I can only imagine what would have happened to these protesters if they were Trump supporters. Most likely, there would have been numerous arrests then afterward, the liberal news media would have called it an insurrection.

Majority of the demonstration was peaceful according to Chief of Police Pamela Smith. However, around 3:30 p.m. 2 adults were arrested for assaulting an officer.

Do people know what they are protesting about? Hamas stated an invasion on Israel. Israel have to fight back. Sadly Palestine's and Israel people are stuck in the middle. Also these people are against Biden for being on Israel side. If they broke the law, they should be punished.

Seems like a long time for a bunch of idiots who can't control their emotions. Unless the ones in jail attacked one of the elites other than that, 3 years is a long time for a trial. Who’s been in jail for three years without a trial?

There are a few idiots, or there will be in a few months. I can't remember their names, but a couple of the pre-trial detainees have *chosen* to delay their trial *again* to more than three years after their arrest. The usual cause is bad lawyers. Some are "pro se" others have fallen in with a couple of "grifter" lawyers that make big promises (presumably) and take on too many clients. Some have had several lawyers. Then there are the ones convinced that there is evidence out there that will exonerate them. (The various conspiracy theories, non-public footage [which they all have], etc.) Just a lot of dumb and delusion going on in the "Patriot Pod" at the DC jail.
