Which "people"? Your posts are not making much sense. First you write "it is their responsibility" without specifying who "their" refers to and then you write "those people" again without specifying who you mean.

I quess it depends on who is doing the telling. Truth these days isnt the real concern on one side that is for sure. And How far back are you going to determi9ne the history of "Palestinian Christians". Those that got along with Israeli's early on, were hated. That is what we see. Anyone sympathizing with Israel is the great Satan, how much more a Palestinian. If you cannot care about some certain liars, I really doubt it is truly a concern at all. Something else is.

Truth is an early casualty in any conflict. People from either side will only ever tell the story from their point of view, and many things that do not affirm their point of view will be neither seen nor heard. Therefore, people from the other side will conclude that the other people are telling lies.
This discussion thread will not get anywhere if this is all we can discuss.
PART of the root cause of this conflict is the ancient struggle for a homeland, the place to which we belong, where we find our roots and our history, and indeed a sense of belonging. To date, western democracies have tried several solutions to Middle Eastern problems, and to date, those efforts seem to have made things worse, not better.

Western media rarely, if ever, broadcast Hamas - they have this annoying habit of talking in Arabic. But since you seem to support Israel I wondered if you thought their untruths matter. You haven't answered that question yet.

Can I take it that your meaning is that the Hamas leaders are responsible for the civilians in the West Bank being in a "war zone". You may have missed it but the Oct 7 attack was launched from Gaza not the West Bank.

I am telling you either they are there voluntarily, therefore military, or they are there involuntarily. How is that? An allied effort, names are just geography. For Hamas they are all in the same fight and names are superficial distinctions. This goverment, that goverment is not protecting either way.
