More to the point, all people includes illegal immigrants.
Support for the country does not mean compassion to help foreigners need be abandoned. If that what you think patriotism means then you can have it.

Taking your request at face value, you have to break it down:
The first possibility it racism, but anyone that disagrees the "party line" is called racism these days, so that's not necessarily so. You can easily sift out the racists, as they are the ones who emphasizes race. A racist will object to immigrants by their race.
The second is concern about diluting American concepts of government and liberty by not being raised here. Except the most patriotic Americans I've met were naturalized citizens. They already held to American ideals before they set foot in this country.
The third is concern about illegal immigration. We're not supposed to call it illegal immigration these days, but if someone comes to this country illegally, ignoring that doesn't make it legal. Illegal entry raises the concern of the second issue, and it does show a willingness not to adhere to the law by not becoming an American through proper channels. The go-to-objection to the third concern are those looking for some sort of asylum and are not convinced it will be granted through legal channels. I doubt that's always the case simply by those illegal immigrants who decided to return. Either that, or they looked at things first hand and decided it was no different than what they left. That's a possibility, too.

I think it would behoove Americans to stop listening to this guy altogether. I mean when is enough actually enough already? Media could assist our society and help focus on our issues as a nation. Let the Trump family focus on their own problems and leave us out of it.

Sorry, but I can't help but notice that you stopped responding to this after getting pointed out that the guy who "we" supposedly misinterpreted was himself quite specific afterwards, that no, he meant exactly what we thought he meant.
Shall I take this as you conceding the point and admit that he did in fact refer to illegal immigrants poisoning the blood of the country?

No, it is not. I am on the "left". I do not support giving illegal aliens the vote. No one I know supports it. There is no one agitating for it. It is not a thing.
