Gas topped out in Jun 2022 at around $5.25. I assume you think that was entirely President Biden's fault. Gas has since fallen to $3.25. By your apparent logic, he should get all the credit.
So Biden was responsible for gas producers worldwide, including OPEC, for not increasing production? Again, what power does the President have to force countries, and oil companies, to increase their production of oil. And does that make the leaders of every other nation, including China, just as much to blame -- since they didn't increase the supply of oil, either?
Donald recently confirmed that he called Russia and Saudi Arabia and asked them to decrease production, thereby increasing the price of oil and with it gas.
Oh, so you are claiming the high gas prices are Trump's fault; since he called his authoritarian buddies and asked them to not produce oil? Seems like Trump doing that, and hurting American consumers, should make you think he isn't a valid candidate for President. Though, at the same time, what evidence is there that Trump's call made any difference in the production of oil (that they weren't doing it already).
It is also worth noting that Biden also asked Saudi Arabia, as well as US oil companies, to increase production.
