As good as I feel I'm reminded that Paul was better than me. He wept tears of sorrow for people. My heart breaks for them and hopes for them but my tears are God's love that he shows me. I'm humbled. Humility is a gift. Praise the Lord. All of God's ways are good. I am nothing. God is love.

I agree. I am impressed with the level of maturity in our discussions. THIS is what I have been hoping to find in Christian Forums. What a breath of fresh air!!!
It is good fellowship. All this fellowship about awakening is helpful.

My contribution this morning would be that this awakening is something daily.
Each day is a new day. Yesterday is under the blood of Christ. Tomorrow is not here yet.
We each have only "today." So this awakening is good to practice each morning with physical awakening.

That is a time with the Lord and His word for confession, praise, reading, and petitioning for whatever the Lord puts
on out heart. These things of course may vary.

What I am saying is find it practical to come to Jesus for awakening DAILY each morning.
This is a good habit to build up, that with our physical awakening we exercise our spiritual being to awaken with Christ.

I need to stay in his love now. I need to be faithful. I cannot go back to where I was before.
This matter of awakening is best practiced on a DAILY basis with our physical awakening.
You know, yesterday is all under the cleansing blood of Jesus.
Tomorrow is not here yet. So we who wish to go on with the Lord well should take it a day at a time.

I mentioned before that I prayed and asked God to put me with Christians who could help me grow.
One, just one of the things I first learned from them was "early rising." I was surprised how many
passages I was shown about saints who rose early in the morning to carry out something significant spirtually.

I learn that the real principle is to let the first transaction of the day be with the Lord Jesus.
That is whenever your day starts. I grasped this practice to come to God and His word FIRST when my day starts.

Some refer to this as "early rising" and others to "morning watch." Lately we have been calling it "morning revival."
And it may differ in length with each believer. But before the world grasps your attention and wears you out, give the beginning
of your day to, as has been fellowshipped here, AWAKEN. Even ten minutes to awaken with God each morning is great.
We can grow to longer times gradually.

So this awakening with Christ can be practically grasped if we build up the habit to do so DAILY.
To awaken for your whole Christian life can be practically achieved by awakening daily, each day as a habit.

I was looking for such fellowship today. I found it in this thread. I don't want a shepherd but a brother with insight and wisdom to share. And fellowship in that.
Let me correct a few bad typos.

I meant to write I wanted more Christians who could help me to grow.
I meant to write that I am now over 70 and know God answered that prayer.

Not long ago I meditated on metal working. That was my passion. I followed the lord the best I could although unfaithful in many ways. I had what I would call a revelation. I gave up trying to stop sinning in one of those sins i was unfaithful to God with. I told him I can't do it if he didn't change me. I asked him to take it away but it was always there. Maybe because I loved it still. I dont know.
Yes, we all have things that our soul simply runs after. I have such things also.
Like you I realize that the only one absolute for the Father is the Son - the Lord Jesus. We have to "lay our hands on Him" and
fully identify with Him. If He does not do it in us we can never make it to live unto God.

Now He knew all this before He saved us. Even more so He knew before we were born. Provision has been amply supplied.
We have to take it by faith. We have to take Christ as EVERYTHING we need.
Then sometime after that, i experienced a darkness in everything. I saw my sin and the suffering in the world and I heard the voices of those atheists that I talked to online. They said that Jesus was just an imaginary friend. I saw and heard all that. It was kind of like I died. There was no hope and no light at all. I was sitting in my friends garage drinking a couple beers. I said to myself where is God? I dont see him in me because I'm a slave to sin. I dont see him in this world either. Those atheist voices in my head were right in a way. It seemed like Jesus was imaginary to me. I was in very dark despair. I gave up like I did that sin I mentioned. I had no reasoning or hope. Everything was dead. I may have said something to God i cant remember but i knew that he is always knowing what i think about. I wouldn't have had to pray necessarily. This was a meeting with reality. Most of my mind saw no hope so i wasn't praying. I dont know. So i didn't see him anywhere. I said to myself without God there is no hope. All i have is my horrible life that i was responsible for, and my health wasnt good either, and then i get the cold dark, grave. where was any hope? Darkness surrounding me i guess.
I recall here His words to His kingdom people:

Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. (Matt. 5:4)
That is mourning over the state of the world.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied. (v.6)
He can satisfy the mourning heart thirsting for righteousness.
Then I was talking to my friend and I noticed myself being guided in the reasoning I used to respond to him. It was the word. It was like God said I'm right here inside you. My hope shined then. The darkness was gone. I began meditating on the word. I meditated on how Jesus is called the word, and how the word of God guided me and spoke to me saying here i am.
Amen. Thanks for sharing this experience.
You know the word of God is the handle by which we can grasp the abstract Spirit of the Lord.
It is called the Sword of the Spirit. The word of God puts a practical handle on the Holy Spirit when taken in a musing and prayerful way.
I feel like God gifted me to see his word and it gives me joy. Now its like the eyes of my understanding have been opened, athough im far from seeing everything. I do see a wonderful light though. I believe God gave me the task of preaching or shining that light. I am however under no delusions. I dont trust anything now after seeing how blind I was and how blind this world is.. I walk by faith here not sight. I don't trust myself but I'm trusting God. I don't trust my understanding but lean on God. I'm like Paul weak and trembling. Not that I'm like Paul though. He saw much more than I do. He was a man I dont see myself ever becoming. I follow him though. I follow his example and teaching to the best of my understanding and ability as I have for a lot of my adult life.

Thanks for sharing this with us. And thank the Lord for His unspeakable gift.

Please allow me to submit another Scripture Song on the word of God being living and operative - Hebrews 4:12.

Amen. I'm glad I'm not the only one. That makes you question yourself too much. Maybe that is good though but it's also good to find joy in the Lord. I don't know what to believe about salvation itself. I dont know if these sleepers are going to eternal domination or not. I hope for them like I hope for myself and the world. One thing I'm sure is that we are fools if we dont follow the Lord's whole word. We must examine ourselves to see if we are in fact I'm the faith as Paul told us. I don't feel qualified or wise enough to judge salvation. I will neither condemn of justify any one. At this time that's all I know.
Wow. I could not agree more over what you have offered, here. And like you, I am unable to determine the Lord's concept of Salvation in terms who will receive it and who will not. Yes, there are Scriptures that speak of Eternal Damnation, but there are also passages that refer to the fact that "all of Israel will be saved."

Because all people have been placed into this sleep, I am 100% confident that we all deserve to be taken out of it. After all, what did you, me, and @oikonomia do to deserve to be placed under the Adamic Curse? We did nothing to deserve this! Therefore, because we Trust our Powerful and Almighy God, and because He alone has granted us with patience and Holy Endurance, I believe that He has sent His Holy Redeemer to Redeem us of this Curse and to bring us into His Holy Family of Circumcision, thus making us right (and alive) in and by the Hands of His Son, Jesus Christ.

Colossians 2:9-15 NLT - "For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body. 10 So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority. 11 When you came to Christ, you were "circumcised," but not by a physical procedure. Christ performed a spiritual circumcision--the cutting away of your sinful nature. 12 For you were buried with Christ when you were baptized. And with him you were raised to new life because you trusted the mighty power of God, who raised Christ from the dead. 13 You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. 14 He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. 15 In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross."

Above, notice how all of these seven, perfect verses flow together. Verse 10 explains verse 9, and verses 11-15 explain verse 10. Notable Words are:

Fullness of God
Complete in our Union with Christ
We were Circumcised (Spiritually)
We were Spiritually dead
We are made alive (awakened) by Christ
The record of our sins has been removed and nailed to the cross with Christ
Victory has been won in our individual lives because of the Work of Christ.

I believe that this Redemption is given to all who belong to Christ, to all those who belong to the Father. Who, therefore, does not deserve this Holy Redemption? Would it not be the offspring of the Fallen angels as first described in Genesis 6? Would it not be those who belonged to the Seven Nations, those who are considered to be "abominations" by the Lord Himself?

God knows who belongs to Him and those who do not. But one thing is certain: All who belong to the Lord WILL BE awakened, whether it be early in their lives, or mid-stage, or even just before death itself. God WILL redeem those who belong to Him, for there can be no other way. One thing is certain: We must all beg the Lord to receive the Spiritual Circumcision of Christ which was first established in Abraham, our Father of Faith. Genesis chapter 17 is where this Spiritual Circumcision was first instituted and I pray that the Church would wake up to these things.

So we who believe that we are mature, should pray for each other, the church, and the world. Pray for me because I'm new. Although I believe that I see God's hand in my life from the beginning in dreams that he gave me, I'm an infant in some ways. I am concerned that I will stumble. I pray about it and put faith in the Lord but I'm just a man. One who has been a slave to horrible sin most of my life. I'm deeply ashamed of it and Paul said we had no fruit in those things we are now ashamed of.

My friend, I would learn to drop the shame of your former self. You were being controlled by a Sinful Nature. God handed everyone over to disobedience, so your sins were not your fault. Paul makes this abundantly clear in Romans 7 as he describes his pre-Transformed life.

Romans 11:32 NIV - "For God has bound everyone over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all."

Is it normal to feel ashamed of our past? Yes, but only for a short period of time. There may be things that we have done that are truly horrible, be we must remember that we are no longer held captive by the Devil with the express purpose to do his evil will. Our hearts have been changed, and so our shame needs to come to an end.

2 Timothy 2:25-26 NIV - 25 Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, 26 and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will."

Above, notice that it is God who has changed our hearts! This is what it means to "wake up." This is Holy Transformation! To wake up is what it means to be released from the captivity of Satan. This is what it means to have received a Circumcision of heart. This is what it means to be Transferred from Spiritual death to Spiritual Life.

My friend . . . this is the core context of the entire Bible! And it absolutely blows my mind. Even though I have been studying these things for years, I am still sitting here and shaking my head over God's Almighty Plan of Salvation. Our Bible is so shocking and miraculous. It contains the most incredible Story ever told. Our Bible is an absolute miracle.

Now I dont think about anything but the word. To me its life. I pray that I don't stray from it like a fool.

Ask that God's Spirit would continue to teach you. But here is the thing: Don't be like most on these Christian sites and come to the conclusion that you have everything figured out. In other words, always desire to keep learning and growing. Never argue, but let the ignorant ones go. Don't fight with them. When you sense that their mind is closed and that they are incapable of grasping the things that God has shown you, move on with Grace and understanding, knowing that your "opponent" is asleep and cannot help their lack of understanding. Forgive them; even Love them. But know that their "sleep" is not their fault. So, ask God that He will continue to teach you for the rest of your life! This means that we never stop seeking; we never stop asking; we never stop knocking. God is waiting for those who ask, seek, and knock, but never turn away from His Holy Door. We know that we are Children of the Lord when we find that our asking, seeking, and knocking never stops, for He is the one who grants this Holy ability.

I believe in you as a true Child of God. Your Wisdom can only come from the Lord and not yourself.

I was studying that Hebrews scripture just last night. I thought I saw God's sabbath in it. As if Grace is the Sabbath.

12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. 13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

14 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven,[f] Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. 16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Thank you. It's actually what I'm doing today. Meditating on exactly what you say here. I wonder how well I'm seeing. I'm also Wondering about how I talk to people too. I woke up with the realization that maybe I'm wrong about something. This saddens me because then I want to question my whole faith. Not that its bad to examine ourselves for that, but if I'm wrong what else am I wrong about? I dont know if I am wrong but it seems like I'm right. But it's like I'm the only one who can see it.

I'm thinking of 7. It's in revelation a lot. I'm told it refers to completeness or perhaps wholeness. Like the harlot of Babylon sits on the beast with seven heads. Perhaps 7 represents all of humanity throughout all history. She's the mother of all unfaithfulness as far as I understand her anyway. She's the mother of harlots and the abominations of the earth. This too represents completeness or wholeness. Just what I'm thinking about anyway.

Thank you. Your words are helpful. I just dont know why my sin seems so much more terrible that others. Am I more evil and ugly to God? Why am I like this? Anyway its good. Great shame perhaps can reap great grace as well.

I'm surely wondering today if what I see is true. I woke up with this on my mind. If I'm wrong about something that I'm considering, am i also wrong about my revelation as well? That would sadden me. Like I found treasure and was overjoyed only to discover its not real.

Expressing your concerns over whether or not you understand the Story of God, AND the Saving Plan of Christ (two different things), this again is a Holy Wisdom that is given to you. Most "Christians" think they have everything all figured out, thus they fight, scratch and claw with each other, attempting to prove to others that they are right, even if it means painfully ridiculing a person with the intent to cause them to look upon themselves with a diminished spirit. Those people are categorically blind, for anyone to cause emotional harm to another is precisely what the Devil wants from his evil children.

You, however, do not have this spirit within you. You are humble in that you want to make sure that you understand the Truth as God wants it to be expressed. You do not want to be right for the sake of yourself, but for the Glory of God alone.

Job well done . . . again.
