Only 24% of Democrats think they are better off under Biden. Sounds like a winner doesn’t it?
The polls that count are called elections. That's what has republicans in a panic:

The GOP's epic losing streak
If Republicans step back and look beyond the legal and social-media spectacle of Donald J. Trump, they'll see screaming political sirens everywhere they gaze.

Why it matters: The GOP's political trouble has been unfolding slowly but unmistakably, starting even before Trump's loss to Joe Biden in 2020.

  1. First, the 2018 House elections were a disaster for Republicans: Democrats had a net gain of 40 seats to take over the House — their largest gain since the post-Watergate election of 1974.
  2. Then Trump lost the presidency.
  3. Next, Republicans blew two runoff elections in Georgia and lost control of the U.S. Senate. The runoffs took place a day before Trump backers stormed the Capitol.
  4. Then, Republicans won the legal fight over abortion as Trump-appointed justices helped to ensure the reversal of Roe v. Wade. But the GOP lost a series of political battles over it afterward — a reflection of polls indicating that most Americans support abortion rights. GOP-led state legislatures have shown no signs of slowing their push to enact stricter abortion bans, suggesting continuing political backlash.
  5. Republicans put high-profile election deniers on the 2022 midterm ballot in key state and federal races — only to see several lose winnable elections.
  6. Republicans blew a chance to control the Senate by nominating too many hard-to-elect-in-a-swing-state Trump facsimiles. Their hopes of a big House majority were erased for the same reason, creating constant headaches for new Speaker Kevin McCarthy.
  7. Just this week, progressive Democrats triumphed in two of this year's most consequential elections. Brandon Johnson, a teachers' union organizer, was elected Chicago mayor. In swing state Wisconsin, Democrat-backed Janet Protasiewicz flipped the state Supreme Court to liberals in a landslide, after leaning into her support for abortion rights.
  8. Senate Republicans have been gifted a historically favorable 2024 map — but hard-right candidates who appeal to the GOP base again threaten to inject uncertainty into at least five winnable races.
  9. Trump is driving an agenda dominated by vengeance and victimhood, diverting Republicans from the inflation- and crime-centered messages that helped them in the midterms.
Reality check: Trump, if anything, is stronger and more likely to win the GOP nomination than he was after the November midterms.
  • Republicans in Congress have rallied to Trump's defense since his indictment.
By the numbers: For all his growing popularity among Republicans, Trump remains wildly unpopular nationally.
  • Polls show Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis — who trails Trump by an average of 26 points among Republicans — would fare far better than Trump in a matchup against President Biden.
  • Biden's approval rating has hovered around 42%, a dismal figure — but still better than Trump's.

With the economy continuing to improve from the pandemic, and with Trump in increasingly dire criminal trouble, it's not a great prospect for the republicans in 2024. They need to get independents in swing states and a Trump conviction or two or several probably will make things worse.

I paid more attention to politics starting in the 90s because I had babies, Currently, I don't like career politicians because they run on the same crap they were running on 30 years ago. Little in my mind seems to change. I'm a term-limit guy.

Another clown makes a video, mocking Biden for stuttering. And they wonder why Americans despise them.

That wasn't "stuttering". That was complete, unintelligible nonsense. Kind of like covfefe.

Also, this isn't a video someone "made". It's an unedited clip of one of Biden's speeches.

Changing the name isn't much of an argument. I get that Biden has moments when he stumbles over himself. "Cofefe" is (in spite of all the criticism) Probably a clumsy typo. C'mon.

Everyone has moments where they stumble over themselves. Biden does it more than most.

Covfefe was indeed probably a typo, but because it was a Trump typo, it was turned into a meme and garnered all kinds of press coverage. Because mocking Trump is A-OK whereas apparently Biden's gaffes are just little non-eventful oopsies. The double-standard is glaring.

Both Trump and Biden are awful candidates. I sincerely hope neither one of them wins re-election.

If this were a stuttering problem which it is not, show the evidence that he has had this stuttering problem throughout his political career.

"Developmental stuttering is always a childhood condition. It can start as early as age 2 or as late as age 7. The average age for it to start is around 3 years old, and 95% of children start before age 4. Persistent stuttering is always an adult condition that begins during childhood.Dec 14, 2022"

I never ceases to amaze me at the attempts to cover for this man both in his obvious health decline and his career of corruption.

In order to get some further insight into this condition and into how Biden is coping with it, The List spoke with linguistics and communication expert Lauren Cohen. For starters, she debunks the myth that stuttering is caused by stress or nervousness, saying, "Many believe that people who stutter are more anxious than others and this has been repeatedly disproven." Instead, she explains that stutterers may have more difficulty processing auditory information and may also have somewhat slower sensory-motor reaction times that result in this speech disorder. As to what causes it, she says that stuttering is frequently hereditary, and discloses the fact that Biden had an uncle on his mom's side who was also a stutterer.
...
As Biden's stutter seems to be genetic and more of a physical issue than one rooted in any emotional trauma, Cohen says it doesn't have a great impact on his ability to engage in debates. She does say, though, that stutterers all tend to have trouble with processing auditory input and are slower to react, cautioning that this could be open to misinterpretation: "If Joe Biden speaks slowly aka 'Slow Joe' this could be misread that he has limited abilities or isn't quick thinking because he is not speaking rapidly."

Cohen goes on to speculate that "many Trump supporters are looking for any way to undermine Joe Biden," and speaks of the "ongoing narrative that Joe Biden is unfit to run America due to being feeble-minded and suffering from cognitive decline." While actual cognitive decline is something that involves confusion, memory loss, and impaired judgment, none of which Biden is exhibiting, Cohen says it's "probable that some speech coping mechanisms he is using are being misinterpreted."

How embarrassing for Trump to have been so easily beaten in the debates by a stutterer.

No doubt this is why he's mocking Biden for stuttering; Losers always find a way to make themselves feel better.

That's the nature of stuttering. Which in Biden's case, is apparently genetic.

Covfefe was indeed probably a typo, but because it was a Trump typo, it was turned into a meme and garnered all kinds of press coverage. Because mocking Trump is A-OK whereas apparently Biden's gaffes are just little non-eventful oopsies.
Neither of those amount to anything. Which is why the issue pretty much went away by 2020. But as you know, republicans have to find something bad to say about Biden, so they mock him for stuttering.

No point in denying the fact. It's been with him since childhood. C'mon.

Biden’s Stutter: How a Childhood Battle Shaped His Approach to Life & Politics

For the young Joe Biden, few things were as daunting as speaking in front of his class.

A student at Catholic school, Biden struggled with a stutter — a speech condition that, at the time, was often regarded as a sign of low intelligence.

The mockery was sometimes fierce, including from a nun who was his teacher.

In the above clip from FRONTLINE’s Sept. 22 documentary, The Choice 2020: Trump vs. Biden (which is now streaming in full online), Biden’s sister, Valerie Biden Owens, describes what happened after a teacher called her brother “Mr. Buh-buh-buh Biden” as he recited an assignment in class.

Their mother, she says, marched Biden back to school and confronted his teacher head-on: “‘Sister, did you make fun of my son? … if you ever, ever, ever do that again, I’m going to come back and I’m going to knock your bonnet right off your head. Do we understand each other?’”

"Developmental stuttering is always a childhood condition. It can start as early as age 2 or as late as age 7. The average age for it to start is around 3 years old, and 95% of children start before age 4. Persistent stuttering is always an adult condition that begins during childhood.Dec 14, 2022"

Yep. See above. It never ceases to amaze me at the attempts of Biden-haters do deny his stuttering both in his childhood and as an adult, while they make all sorts of transparent excuses for Donald Trump's ongoing mental decline and his corruption.

Biden is a hate mongering individual.

He states that he's 'better' and a 'unifier' but he calls others out by upping their ante in inflammatory rhetoric.

Because of this, he's just as low and contemptible as anyone he wishes us to view as inferior.

I have nothing but contempt for him every time he opens his intellectually compromised, only allowed to talk with his handlers script, traitorous mouth.

Can you please state your support for President Biden’s re election without mentioning Trump
That lasted for about four posts. There are several people running for president, but it seems mostly no one is willing to acknowledge their existence. The locked mentality is person A is better than person B, while completely ignoring the existence of persons C, D, E, F, G, H etc. Sad.

You can document where he refers to the opposing party as "vermin" or suggests killing his political opponents, as Trump has? Links?

That's the nature of stuttering.

Sure. Falling off a bike not while riding, but while simply trying to get off the bike, the inability to walk up the stairs to a plane without falling multiple times, the confused and lost look when trying to exit a platform after his speeches... these things are all "stuttering" to you?

But as you know, republicans have to find something bad to say about Biden, so they mock him for stuttering.

I'm not sure why you pretend Biden's only gaffes are of him stuttering. Surely you must know there are countless other indicators that Biden isn't exactly at the top of his game.

We should clarify that "Linguistics and Communication expert" Lauren Cohen has never personally evaluated Biden. Minor detail, I suppose.

She concludes that it "seems to be genetic" because Biden had an uncle who stuttered.

Then Cohen "speculates" what "many Trump supporters" are doing. Good golly! Not only is she a communications "expert", she's also a political ideology expert! Is there anything Ms. Cohen can't do?!

Well there you have it! An "expert" that "observes" Biden and is aware of the fact that there is someone in Biden's family tree that has stuttered. If that isn't iron-clad evidence then I don't know what is!

It's hard to believe there are people that possess this level of gullibility that think any of this passes as empirical proof of anything.

But you can't show us any? I think I know why. I'll grant you that "much better than Trump" is setting the bar pretty low, but still...

Wasn't there a clip of Biden telling people it might help to inject themselves with disinfectant.
Or his commendation of George Washington for seizing the airports at the Battle of Yorktown.
Or his brilliant idea to use an H-bomb to "disrupt" a hurricane.
Or his claim that you need ID to buy cereal.
Or his belief that LED bulbs and windmills cause cancer.
Or... "
“You know, a poll just came out that I am the most popular person in the history of the Republican Party—92 per cent. Beating Lincoln. I beat our Honest Abe," Trump said."

Wait... this is a list of stupid things Trump believes. Sorry....

That's because there's a genetic connection to stuttering:

It's not as though the data is hard to find. C'mon.

Sure I can. YouTube has plenty of compilations of Biden's countless gaffes and weird moments. Here's just one.

That's because there's a genetic connection to stuttering:

So you're just going to ignore the fact that your chosen "expert" has never personally interacted with the President?

I get that you think that posting a link to some article where they quote some random "expert" is compelling, but it's really not, especially when said "expert" has never evaluated the President.

Most people just aren't that gullible.
