No. God knows the future and knew that such a book would be a part of the Bible. The book of Revelation does not exist separate from the rest of the Bible. So the poor guy on the street is not going to know that Revelation used to exist differently. The Scriptures say that God has chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith.
God’s will is done by the Word of God and not by some thought that enters Jenkin’s mind to write the Chosen.
Everything I said can be backed up by Scripture. God does not want us to create idol or false images of God. Do you not regard this Jesus on the Chosen as real when you watch it? Do you not have to set aside that it is fiction to enjoy the show? Or do you say, this is not real, this is not real, this is not real while you watch it?
Not at all. The principle of altering God’s Word can be found in other places in Scripture. God warns not to alter His Word elsewhere so it is a re-occurring theme. It’s not just the book of Revelation. Curses have already come upon men who have already altered God’s Word. These curses can found in other parts of the Bible and not the book of Revelation.
You either just arrived on planet Earth or you never get caught up emotionally in a movie before. When folks watch a movie or TV show, they generally suspend the fact briefly that they are watching a fictional program because they get emotional while watching it. In short, they believe this show is reality or real while they are watching it until they hit the pause button or turn it off.

Not sure how you got that out of what I said. I actually believe 1 John 2:27 applies to born again Christians unlike one poster I know on the forums who does not believe this applies to us today.
Hardly. As you said it triggers emotions though and the Chosen for example has triggered some pretty good emotions in people of all beliefs. It hasn't tried to divide. Only that would come compliments of the minds of individual viewers intent on doing so, such like politics and the state of the world does today. The show is more of a second commandment thing while division is not.
This is how people normally watch fiction. They consider it reality or an alternate reality while they are watching it so as to enjoy it. If they thought it was fake while they watched it, then they could not truly get emotional. Again, has any movie or TV show ever gotten you emotional before? If so, then you had to have suspended that the fictional entertainment was actually real so you could enjoy it.
Your passionate defense of the show merely shows that you did enjoy it. This means you had to have suspended the fact that it was fiction while you watched it unless you kept saying to yourself repeatedly it was fake. Generally people watch movies and TV to escape the reality we live in. Yes, later when the show was over, you then realized it was just a show or fiction. But while you watch it, you believe it is real. Well, that is if you want to enjoy it. That is what many people do.

Nah, treat it the same as I did the "Young Messiah" which was a pure 'guestimate' of history. But watching a show about followers of Jesus is no different than being here on forums or in church. They all act human so there is not much difference in them. But I appreciate your fervor.
