perhaps there's another word/phrase for releasing material still under the detrmination of the court system.
Disgusting is the first word that comes to my mind.
I would just call it a human right. Freedom of the press.
whether that should be done is being determined in the courts..
I don't think the government should have exclusive purview to censor words intended to be shared publicly.
Local news only showed blurred images. What was reported is that it appears to be material that was in the shooter's car being photographed into evidence. Three pages from two notebooks was my understanding but I readily admit that I could be wrong on the number of notebooks.

as an aside.. I'm at the location depicted in the thumbnail photo in the OP 3 to 5 times a week. I was there earlier this afternoon. This story is local for me.
