Because the Palestinians never agree to any solution.
In hindsight, the Arab world should certainly have accepted the UN plan in 1947-8. But there really hasn't been any very viable solution presented to them since.

I think the idea of 1967 borders with land swaps is workable, but the continued Israeli settlements in occupied territories makes this less and less acceptable to Israel (which has put the settlements there intentionally).

I'd like to see some quotes on this, from Palestinian leaders, responding to free-state negotiations by rejecting the offers because they only want to destroy Israel. Because, based on what I've seen and read, it looks like you're demonizing the Palestinians, probably because you think they have some special right to life that the Palestinians don't, based on their religious affiliations. That's usually how it is when Americans puff themselves up in defence of Israel. They aren't following Jesus. He told his followers that God wasn't interested in where people worship, whether at this holy site or that holy site, because God is spirit. With his last breath, Jesus said, "it is finished" and at that very moment God himself tore the thick, huge curtain which separated the Holy of Holies from the rest of the temple. In other words, God was done with the box and all that it represented.

All this "support for Israel", including huge sums of weapons and money for weapons to absolutely dominate an impoverished people by occupying their land and steadily taking it for themselves. They bulldoze houses, farms, schools, fruit plantations, hospitals, whatever is Palestinian owned, and then settlers move in. Their soldiers brutalize and molest them regularly, often ending in arrests and shooting for the simple crime of protesting injustice.

How can you say it's okay for a Christians nation to not only financially support this, but to justify it in the name of the very God they are rebelling against?
You need to look at the history of this. It's crucial to the understanding. The Arabs, which includes the Palestinians have NEVER wanted an Jewish state. In the the 1930s the British controlled the area. They offered to give Israel 17% of the area and the Arabs all said no. However the resolution passed and the Palestinians immediately attacked the Israelis.

Arabs continues to attack throughout the years and Palestine was controlled by the British and the other Arabs nations.

Then in 1947 when the Brits gave Israel 55% and the Palestinians 45% again they said no and in 1948 launched the war against Israel again. Palestine was under Jordanian and Egyptian rule and not Israel. Israel beat them. BUT THEY ATTACKED FIRST. And Israel gave back the land they took during the war to get peace.

Then in 1967 the Arabs including the Palestinians attacked Israel again! And again Israel beat them and took land. But THE PALESTINIANS AND OTHER ARABS ATTACKED FIRST.

Then in the 7Os Israel gave the land back again in order to have peace.

Then in 1987 the Palestinians declared an intifada against Israel.

Then in the 1990s when they were trying to work out a Palestinian state the Palestinians refused. And in the PLO charter stated Israel had no right to exist and called for armed conflict against it.

in 2000 an offer of peace was rejected and Palestinians attacked Israel.

In 2005 Israel abandons Gaza and Hamas takes over and attacks Israel.

In 2009 Israel offers recognition in exchange for demilitarized state cause they were sick of being attacked and the Palestinians said no.

Each and every time peace and land were offered it was rejected by the Palestinians. They don't recognize Israels right to exist and continue to attack it no matter what Israel does it Israel offers.

I don't blame Israel a bit for its actions as they have been under constant threat and attack by the Arabs in the region no matter what they do or offer.

The two state "solutions" so far have been more like 1.25 states. The P one was never realistic as a proper state, which was probably the idea. Not justifying this attack at all. Just some proper context.
Not true. They have been offered 80% and 45% and turned it down both times.

The US needs to stay out of this; the only exception should be last resort, covert assistance to Israel. Since it should be covert & absolutely last resort, it should never be able to be proven if it was necessary. Probably just letting Israel do what it needs to do would rule out US involvement.

There needs to be boots on the ground. Take all of Palestine now!

...And if Iran tries something, let the U.S. have them... Iran is ours, along with all their oil.
Actually, I have been wondering what Israel will do if/when they get more evidence of Iran's involvement. I don't think Israel will wait for the US to act.

And perhaps even more : Scripture.
Who does the Creator Himself Say He Blesses ? Whoever helps/blesses His people.
Who does the Creator Himself Say He Curses ? Whoever hurts/ curses His people.

You really want to say that we need to follow God and his plan and then turn around and dismiss his plan
Nothing to do with his plan, which of course is in motion. But the foreigners/outsiders who came and still come to the new misnamed Israel because it used to be Judah, brought with them a bad influence differing from the life of the resident Jews and Arabs who already lived there in peace. It's like the Babylonian influence of the Hebrew people at one time and the problems it caused. This was the point of the Jewish journalist. These too will have to repent and find their way back to God. They are still in punishment phase.

Maybe, just maybe this conflict will serve as the catalyst to bring all of Israel to repentance.

A journalist said they were wrong but I highly doubt the government or their supporting allies would take that stand. But we can hope they come around to the will of God instead of their own and quit being their own worst enemy. It could add a whole new chapter to their bible.

BTW all of Israel means all 12 tribes/families, not just these the Jewish people who rejected their old name of Judah and took the family name of Israel as their own for this nation. Talk about sibling rivalry.
