How would you understand that He sits on the throne of His glory on earth in the Holy Land?
But when the Son of Man comes in His glory and all the angels with Him, at that time He will sit on the throne of His glory.
And all the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them from one another, just as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. (Matt. 25:31,32)
Do you think if this is in heaven Jesus will take to heaven those who are "goats" to go into eternal punishment?
Do you believe He will gather all the nations before Him in heaven?
I mean Joel 3:12 indicates that this judgment takes place in the Holy Land in the valley of Jehoshaphat.
Hurry and come, / All you surrounding nations, / And be gathered. / There cause Your mighty ones to descend, O Jehovah!
Let the nations rouse themselves and come up / To the valley of Jehoshaphat. / For there I will sit to judge / All the surrounding nations.oikno . . . Multitudes, multitudes, / In the valley of decision; / For the day of Jehovah has drawn near / In the valley of decision. (See Joel 3:11-14)
Back to the same event in Matthew 25:41:
Then He will say also to those on the left, Go away from Me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. (v.41)
Does Jesus take the condemned up to heaven to be judged?
"[T]he throne of His glory" is also mentioned in Matthew 19:28 about the restoration of the 1,000 years.
And Jesus said to them, Truly I say to you that you who have followed Me, in the restoration, when the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory, you also shall sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. (Matt. 19:28)
Do you believe that the twelve disciples will sit on twelve thrones judging the twelve tribes from heaven ?
