  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

How to stop abortions.

1. Stop insulting single pregnant women.
I have never heard a woman, who has been insulted, respond by killing her child.
2. Free child care.
Likewise I am not familiar of lack of childcare or baby sitters a reason to end the life of the child.

Here's thought:

If a woman does not want to get pregnant, don't participate in activity designed to produce a child. Without getting graphic, there are many different alternatives available for pleasure.

That statistically would end more than 95% of abortions.

What I did was take your suggestion and assumed it was a reality, then posted a few hypothetical results which would likely change the lives for pregnant women, their family and the fetus. Any assumption on your part regarding my comment is simply your assumption.
When you say “unborn child”, it’s not an assumption.

Then why the war on sex ed and contraception? For all the world it seems as if the largely Christian right in America wants to limit child birth to strictly Christian parameters by discouraging education, contraceptives and pushing abstinence. And women forced to carry a pregnancy to term directly feeds into this.

So it is about punishment: for not doing sex the Christian way.
I'm personally not against contraception and I don't understand how anyone could be.

Sex Ed has been co-opted by an LGBTQ agenda that is intent of sexualizing young children. I'm completely against that. I'm all in favor of responsible sex education at the proper age like how things used to be before deplorables started pushing Sex Ed on kindergarteners.

See, here’s the thing: recent rulings from the Supreme Court have altered the legal landscape for those who are LGBTQIA+.
Lesbians and gays are able to marry, and discrimination against LGBTQIA+ in the areas of employment, housing and public accommodation has been forbidden.
The children who are now in schools will live with these new (legal) realities and it would be best of the non-LGBTQIA+ children were aware that their peer who are, are afforded these rights by the laws of the land.

That’s the thing that you’re “worried about”, that non-LGBTQIA+ kids will view their LGBTQIA+ peers as “normal”.

Of course if there were any problems in the relationship (that had spawned this newest Citizen) the fetus would need to have legal representation for itself since the mother’s attorney couldn’t advocate for the legal entity that is the “child”.
I eagerly await the court case of "Jane Doe" VS "Her fetus".

Are single women allowed to take their baby or small child to work with them?

Yes, they are allowed to accompany mom into the kitchen while she cooks dinner, for all those hard working stay at home moms who's job is to cook, clean, laundry and other things stay at home moms do. Otherwise, few actual work places allow mothers to bring their small children to work.

This wouldn't be an issue at all if LGBTQ propaganda was not foisted upon young children who shouldn't even be thinking about sexuality at that age.

Television has been sexualizing children for decades, and now the internet kicks it up a notch. It is amazing that all all of a sudden it is the LGBTQ community to blame for 'indoctrinating' the wee little ones like never before!

TV and internet doing this to kids is a lot more passive than something like Dragqueen story hour.

TV is Passive? Really?

Did the ever find the killer of poor little JonBenét Ramsey? It was a shame she was sexualized so young.

How many Drag Queen Story Time readings have you witnessed? I ask only because in order to determine which is more passive is to see both in order to have an objective opinion. I've never see one, but there is one on youtube I saw a minute of, and to me it seemed very passive.

Yes, let's simply rule out the options available to cut down on unwanted pregnancies and abortion and focus only on the things education, support and adoptions.
Is that sarcasm at ruling out forced sterilization?

Their statement was "Tie the tubes of every female child born and all pregnancies must be by artificial means. It answers the question... but raises a million others." I do not get the feeling that it was meant particularly seriously.
