That reminds me, I haven't watched Red Dawn in a while. The original, not the remake (that was a waste). Though the remake is more believable than the conspiracy you are offering here.

You think it's a conspiracy theory that I think we're headed for a war on US soil?

Do you have White Picket Fence Syndrome? The US government has been for the past 20 years at least even longer maybe trotting around the globe inflicting Democracy on many countries. Do you think they like being poked by the US?

If you can't see the ground war coming then I don't know what to tell you. Cut the dosage? Increase the dosage? Things can change fast. Our peacetime in the US has lasted for a long time and many have become complacent.

In the Biden White House, illegal immigration is simply politics: The politics of broader electoral viability, the politics of future voting demographics, the politics of appeasing the base, and most recently, the politics of retribution. This latest phase entered the scene this week, with the administration’s reported plan to force the millions of illegal immigrants streaming over the border to remain in Texas.

Without US employers using illegal labor to place downward pressure on wages we would cope just fine.

When I was working HVAc in Colorado Springs there was a lot of mexicans on jobsites. I buddied up to them and found them ok to work around and I would have to say that, those guys do good work. But I also did not hear about them asking for lower wages, lol. They want paid too. Are Colorado Mexicans different than the rest?

They are, I'll explain. I did over time see a lot of shoddy mexican work and I got to hear the stories (so it was happening, just not on my jobsites, lol). And the lady would say, he gave me a real good price and then he ruined my...??? and now I cant get ahold of him. I dont want him back anyway!

So it's like any other trade, any other race, there are professionals and there are handymen who don't care. Don't hire those guys!

So they are not really trying to drive wages down. But when the man shows up to work, you would want him to be well equipped with tools and such, right? And to have what I need with me already, right? AND, you do want me to be Insured, don't you?? Of course you do! Well, I was a Contractor for 22 years. I had 1 Million/2million insurance and kept my truck stocked with all the common parts and motors. Tools out the wazoo. But all that cost money sir. So that's why we cost more than the non-professionals.

It's the Supply houses mostly, getting greedy. Everybody.

Should I take your claim on faith? There are, after all, lots of things I take entirely by faith. I'm a Christian. However, I don't take just anything on faith.

For a claim like this, I feel like it would require providing something substantial, demonstrable, concrete.

Also, the US has been doing this a lot longer than 20 years. We've been doing this since the 1950's, remember the Korean War? The Vietnam War? The First Gulf War? Then there were The Secret War, Operation Power Pack, Operation Commando Hunt, Operation Urgent Fury, etc etc. I mean. It's a fairly extensive list of both covert and not so covert military action around the globe of American attempts to influence and, outright, control other governments and societies.

That still, however, doesn't tell me why I should believe that somehow there are sleeper agents all around us and that things are about to erupt into some kind of ground war. Is there a secret cabal of people gathering around a table coordinating something? If yes, evidence? Otherwise, "America has been going around acting like a jerk to a lot of the world for the last century" isn't, itself, evidence of anything except America has been ruled by an ideology of neo-liberal and neo-conservative interventionism--for the purpose of exploiting other nations for resources to feed our capitalistic greed. That's a good reason to focus on changing things in Washington DC, such as getting a lot of those old white guys out of Congress. But it still doesn't tell me why I should believe in your claim of a coming war on US soil.

It’s delusional to think illegal economic migrants are secretly an organized military force waiting on orders.

Are you really that naive to think migrants are more capable then grunting in the fields?

I believe it will be the downfall of the U.S. I've seen a great difference in our city since the borders were open. What. Possible good reason could they have. States are suffering financially, morally, violence is rampant. I just don't get it. A politician said in the news today that the country is moving up in every way. My words.. who is going to help the cities that have taken them in and are struggling financially? I would like to know how the citizens feel about it.

They're trying to broaden the voter base by setting up campaigns in their home countries to seek asylum in the USA. When they get here they'll use your tax dollars to give them very generous welfare; they will also grant them amnesty and citizenship complete with voting rights. They'll continue this operation for years as hundreds of thousands of immigrants swells to millions.

They will also maybe/probably vote Democrat because that's the party who helped them get where they are. At the same time they are running various propaganda campaigns to discourage dissenting opinions or discussion on the matter.

The end goal is to get a majority Democrat voting base as the aging GOP voter base gradually dies off. Democrats want party supremacy and may actually get it probably within the next 10 years or so.

Perhaps underestimating them will give a sense of false security.
I never underestimate their ability to botch whatever plans they do make.

It’s a strange to attempt to excuse Republican incompetence to court a majority of voters by blaming it on some imagined, elaborate, long term plan by Democrats to “create” Democratic voters out of immigrants. Democrats already have the majority of voters. Why would they need to go to extremes to get what they already have?

That's funny. You're right too. Except for it aint really them bothing it all of the time, sometimes it is botched because of the Christian (R) praying to God to foul up their plans and make their equipment malfunction.

Just prayers.

It's not really the democrats you know, it's just funny to tease about them. The actual war is spiritual.

Schrodinger’s immigrant: coming in to “take-our-jobs” (that we don’t want to do) while simultaneously “getting free stuff from the government”.

Not sure if that was meant to be addressed to me since I am apolitical and uninterested in excusing either party. As an outside observer, this is just what I am seeing. This is just basic observation with critical thinking about what is happening. I guess most neutral people would agree with me.

Is that your opinion about what is happening? I don't agree with that.
