Interesting article. We had a precarious start that almost didn't happen.

As I read the article I couldn't but help but image and wonder the future demise of Homo sapiens as a species. Especially with what we have done to the Earth.

Strange how mankind has achieved vastly more in a few thousand years than in the preceding 895,000. It's almost as if man has only been on the earth a few thousand years. Maybe "God created man in His image" is correct after all.

It's called the cumulative effects of developing technology. Especially the technology of long-term storage of information (writing).

Every life form on the planet came from its immediate parents, from those born today, to the oldest person on earth.

They are evidence of microevolution, not macroevolution.
