How unbearable would hell be?

Hi I was wondering what the hell that most people would be going to would be like. Apparently with earthly torture "Going too far, too fast with torture can simply desensitize people". Could people also get used to the suffering in hell or is the point to be in an agony that you'd never get used to? I'm wondering what Christians believe the Bible says about this.

I have been there a few times. It’s small but not too shabby and the food is pretty decent.

Here are the geographical coordinates for hell 42.4338° N, 83.9845° W

As for the biblical term of hell …it’s very misused due to religious teachings …People don’t burn forever ….it’s total annihilation (the barbecue). Although Satan and some of his homies do cook for a while (aion).

The Bible didn't mention about the details of hell. More likely, humans' self protection mechanism may drive one insane and feels nothing, like the zombies. Though the more wicked may possess a stronger mind to sustain their sanity longer. Satan is with a very strong will and hard mind that maybe it takes long for his sanity to completely go away. Humans are relatively weak-minded. The fire will consume their mind till they turn zombies at the end.

That's how I view it.

This should give you a little taste for it. According to Jesus (and He should know since He created it):

42 “But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea. 43 If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed, rather than having two hands, to go to hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched—44 where
‘Their worm does not die
And the fire is not quenched.’
45 And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life lame, rather than having two feet, to be cast into hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched—46 where
‘Their worm does not die
And the fire is not quenched.’
47 And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye, rather than having two eyes, to be cast into hell fire—48 where
‘Their worm does not die
And the fire is not quenched.’
[The New King James Version (Mk 9:42–48). (1982). Thomas Nelson.]

Big take-away's... you never die, and the fire is never quenched. You don't want to go there, you can trust Jesus on that one.

Also that you shouldn't take the above statements literally because if you did you'd end up killing yourself after removing all your body parts after they caused you to sin

I think it is safe to say hell is a literal place where those who have rejected Jesus "shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power". (2 Th 1:9)

Here's another thing Jesus said about hell: "And I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him who, after He has killed, has power to cast into hell; yes, I say to you, fear Him!" (Lk 12:4–5) Hell is nothing to play around with.

"Fear Him who, after He has killed"

Yeah how many people do you see God killing?
Hmmm. I wonder what Jesus' answer might have been if you had asked Him that question. I suppose He would have had an good answer to the question itself, and He probably would have had an good answer for the underlying belief that prompted the question.

I don't believe in hell as the bible says for many reasons. For one, this life is already hell. Why would we go through hell here just to go to hell again for whatever reason. Also I don't care what someone does. It doesn't justify burning in hell for all of eternity, that just doesn't make any sense.
And most of the times people presumably go to hell for even lesser reasons, like not understanding who god was. That's totally moronic. And if you disagree, don't really care. Cause I disagree with you as well.

Yeah I have come to the conclusion that life is a sick joke where we chase our desire/white whale and we wouldn't know what to do if we got it

I feel sorry for you guys. You may indeed be Christians, but you seem to have no respect for God or the things of God. Maybe that's the reason you're both miserable.

I have had migraine many times before but it does not lessen the pain every time I have it. In other words I will never get used to it and the moment I feel the pain coming I would pop a pill asap. Jesus spoke and warned us about hell more than any other prophets. We ought to take heed not to end up there.

I really don't see how it can be taken that way

And there is no rest knowing you are stuck in a world of lies where the food and drink is imaginary but you have to eat it to survive

God is many things but a filthy sadist is not one of them
