That goes to the Heart of the conflict. Many people would feel like a failure as a parent if their children ended up opposing gay marriage so they would support something like DQSH but oppose someone like Kurt Cameron doing the Christian themed equivalent.

If the support for drag queens reading to children is as miniscule as you assume, then why is it even an issue? Why care about something that barely, if ever, happens...assuming your numbers are even close to correct.

Maybe....just maybe....there is more support out there than you think. If not active support, at least a general acceptance of the practice without prejudice.

Keep in mind, people have been performing in drag for literally thousands of years, both for adults and children, and it took this long for anyone to make an issue out of it.

Someone was stating the fact that they are not all gay and I don't see how that is relevant.
They all support gay marriage , support for gay marriage is one of the main motivations


I do find the fact many Drag queens get a sexual thrill out of drag an issue in the same way I would have an issue there was a large group of men reading stories to children and a large number of them were having recreational straight sex immediately after reading the story

As people have noted, that's probably a significant undercount, but by means of comparison, there are roughly 35,000 Catholic priests in the US, and in the past, the number was no more than 50 to 60 thousand.

Even granting that most of the child sex abuse scandals in the news often sum up several decades' worth of activity, priests are still punching way above their weight in abusing children, compared to drag queens.

Yes, yes.....hyper sexualized reality TV shows and drag queen story hours are two different things. I'm sure everyone is clear on that.

But the only difference you saw fit to mention was that story hours are intended for children. I'm curious as to why that difference is relevant, and how that might present a problem in some way.

Sure, readers can draw conclusions....and I'm sure I could come up with a conclusion or two if I chose to ponder it. But, I'd rather hear from you what your problem is, rather than just make assumptions.
