How do you feel about people trying to silence them?Well, it's two different ends of the Free Speech Spectrum.
That figure of 50,000 is just those who attended a convention. I am quite certain that not every drag queen it the country attended the conventions.Trying to find sats on how many drag queens in the US - I found this:
Estimated Drag Queens In the USThat would be even smaller than I thought. Regardless, we are addressing a very tiny portion of the US population. So yeah, if the majority decides to not support them, it isn't hatred - it is a difference of who they want with their children.
- In 2018, there was approximately 50,000 attendees at the New York and Los Vegas DragCons, respectively.
HAHA! You got me.How do you feel about people trying to silence them?
feel free to show stats - I couldn't find anyThat figure of 50,000 is just those who attended a convention. I am quite certain that not every drag queen it the country attended the conventions.
I don't think you can get a firm number on either - stats on both are fluid and hard to findHAHA! You got me.
I have NO problems in limits of free speech. I like limits on hate speech but I'm the abberation on this board for sure on that point.
But I asked that question outwards. I'm curious if people think there are more KKK + sympathizers OR more drag queens +sympathizers.
Additionally, we can't know how many of the 50,000 who attended the conventions were actually drag queens. I really don't care how many there are. It doesn't seem very important.feel free to show stats - I couldn't find any
That goes to the Heart of the conflict. Many people would feel like a failure as a parent if their children ended up opposing gay marriage so they would support something like DQSH but oppose someone like Kurt Cameron doing the Christian themed equivalent. How do you feel about people trying to silence them?
Are members of DQSH gay? I thought someone was arguing they were not all gay? That goes to the Heart of the conflict. If the support for drag queens reading to children is as miniscule as you assume, then why is it even an issue? Why care about something that barely, if ever, happens...assuming your numbers are even close to correct.Trying to find sats on how many drag queens in the US - I found this:

Not all drag performers are gay. Many are, but not all of them. Are members of DQSH gay? I thought someone was arguing they were not all gay?
Someone was stating the fact that they are not all gay and I don't see how that is relevant. Are members of DQSH gay? I thought someone was arguing they were not all gay?
As people have noted, that's probably a significant undercount, but by means of comparison, there are roughly 35,000 Catholic priests in the US, and in the past, the number was no more than 50 to 60 thousand.

Are the ads for a hyper sexualized reality TV show being specifically directed at children? If I was a child, the message I would get from ads for Hyper sexualized reality TV show is that it is really fun to sleep around and to fantasize about sleeping around.
Such ads are common,
My question is drag queen story time more of a problem or not ? Why ?
And what, specifically, is the problem with that? Are the ads for a hyper sexualized reality TV show being specifically directed at children?
Drag queen story hour is being specifically directed at children and directly involving children in a space reserved for children.
That it “happens at all”, I think. And what, specifically, is the problem with that?
-- A2SG, still unclear on that.....

I simply pointed out the difference between the two. It's up to the readers to draw whatever conclusions they want to.And what, specifically, is the problem with that?

Or kilts or surgical gowns. That it “happens at all”, I think.
Funny how church vestments get a pass.
Yes, yes.....hyper sexualized reality TV shows and drag queen story hours are two different things. I'm sure everyone is clear on that.I simply pointed out the difference between the two. It's up to the readers to draw whatever conclusions they want to.
