  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Honest, the dog was driving!!

No idea what all the fuss is about. I been driving my owner around for many years!!! Woof!
Then you should sympathise with the dog, as its owner tries to shift the blame onto it.

Many, many years ago I was driving from Brisbane to Perth.

Somewhere on an isolated stretch of road between Port Augusta and Perth I pulled up at a service station. It was, and still is, a long way between service stations in that part of the country.

At the same time a bloke pulled up on a motorcycle. His dog had a padded cushion on top of the fuel tank to ride on, and was strapped down so he couldn't fall off.

The dog also had a set of eye goggles to protect his eyes from the wind of passage.

When he stopped the rider released the dog's harness. The dog hopped off, reached up with his front paw and neatly flipped the goggles up and over his eyes, shook himself and went around the back presumably to relieve himself and sniff a post or three.

Some people are cooler than I could ever be.
